While India observes Janmashtami on 7th Sept, as a national holiday, all is not well with patients in Dimapur. Sickness takes no holiday as patients are seen to neglect imposing serious health threats. Though the absence of doctors in hospitals on holidays remains a concern.
Please interview SBI staffs... 90% of them are too rude

Private or Govt. Doctor's or any medical staff are human too and not machines. They need rest for themselves and also to spend time with their families. They also need positivism and encouragement after all the good works they do everyday fighting any new disease outbreaks risking there lives, atlest give them some space instead of Oppressing them. Due to Dengue outbreak most of the staff are infected from the patients at every hospital. N.B: Due to 1% dissatisfied patients how can the public ignore the 99% good work . "Even the Purest form of gold ever know is just 99.9%."
No holiday for sickness is what everyone must know. Only 1 Doctor in Dimapur District Hospital today with 70-80 patients is wonderful.

Once I lost my beloved son...due to negligence of doctor..i will never mentioned that doctor name but I believe...God is watching him..on the day ho got drunk and came after my son is in serious condition..and I lost my love one 😭😭😭

My grandpa Dr Haralu was massacred by the maratha light infantry cause he ventured out while curfew was imposed it was during the Indo naga conflict, he couldn't sit by his house and leave his patients to their fate, so taking all risk he still went for duty. Just that he never made it back home that day. There are certain excerpts from a book on Nagaland about PM Nehru commenting on the loss of Dr Haralu as well.
He will be in heaven now for his good cause.

(1) I want to say to all the medical departments of nagaland to please resign and stay at home or run your own clinic Or hospital, because you are getting paid to look after the poor and needy people.(2)there are more than hundreds of well qualified unemployed doctors in nagaland who are willing to work for the betterment for the public.

All these problems arise because of single doctor attending to 70/80 patients. For serious patients, every seconds count.
Firstly,public holidays are observed in all govt hospitals/ institutions all over India,not only Nagaland ,but it caters to emergencies. 2ndly,, miscommunication seems to be there as atleast pain reliever could have been given to patient even though dentist is not available. 3rdly ,public are bearing the brunt of manpower shortage which ofcourse is govt responsibility. Irresponsible govt because we sold our votes in the first place. So public are also in a way responsible for the irresponsible govt who should have appointed sufficient manpower to cater to our needs. So better give pressure to the govt to enhance manpower and develop DH which is looking after lakhs of population instead of always blaming the doctors to whom you will be going to when you become patient. Lately doctors have become public punching bag which I feel will create a negative impact on patient-doctor relationship. Lets be rational and not jump into conclusions just because someone says so.

Doctors and nurses are human too so they need holiday's and rest . But they should have alternate doctors in each department taking turns while others rest .

There is a serious shortage of Doctors and Nurses and paramedics in Nagaland but Health n family welfare and health ministry always says there is enough surplus of staffs in Nagaland.And it’s simply cos Doctors and Paramedics are not appointed in Govt sector so everyone is working in Private sector.

Only one emergency doctor in a big district like Dimapur is unbelievable. I don't understand why some doctors like dentist attend their duty 2 or 3 days in a week as if patients have toothache only on their duty days. Poor people like me can't afford to go to private clinic. If at all they can't perform their duty sincerely why did they even chose the profession I wonder.
When was the last time govt. Recruited dentists ?? Ans..about a decade back..if you want quality and timely treatment, please go to the health and family directorate and question them..we need manpower enhancement in health sector

@@ajungjamir1008 bio metric for the doctors and office staff of every dept, body cams for the police cuz we had enough of police brutality and assault, and banking staff's brain should be imprinted with the motto "the customer is always right". RD and FCS dept should install cctvs in every shops and office and trackers must be installed in trucks transporting Civil supplies to monitor their locations. Lotsa changes needed, long way to go but so slow and lacking behind in progress and development.
Not only hospitals but In every department pvt. or govt. too. And when holiday comes be it National or State holiday No work whatsoever, Best solution to every problem.

Just 1 day absence in Dimapur hospital created ruckus. In other districts Doctors are present only 100 days out of 365 days. Nagas we literally need to wake up and fight against it
Emergency Doctor should be enhance atleast to 3 Doctors.
Government job has low duty with high Salary and Private has high duty with low salary.... Nagaland Govt should really look at this such as Proxy Teachers, and Hospitals etc.... Doctors sending the patients to different clinics as they earn more extra money including salary...m
Apart from dentist,delivery ward is one of the worst .they treat pregnant woman as animals.I too experience this kind of struggle...

Dimapur is on war with dengue these days. Holiday is not necessary. Even bank are open today
One thing I got distracted at Civil Hospital Pharmacy is, the policy of payment first and than medicine last. At the same time taking more than 10-20minutes per person to take cash payment slip😢. Just imagine you're in 10th in a line away from counter

Public r coming out boldly nowadays to reach out their voice of cries and struggle they r facing, and all this s made possible cause of brave journalist,u tuber and social media platforms who works tirelessly to help public and to make a better Nagaland and even outside Nagaland also, I pray that God keep them safe and their work for humanity wouldn't go in vain , God will truely blessed them and in near future ,lets hope we will see a better change.

This is the cause of money, Lazy and stupid which means they work for money it's not their passion. I think you should inspect the private Hospitals too...I have came across so many greviences including the attitude of female nurses and other staff. Some they are not even fit to serve in panshop, they talk and act with patient or attendant like 'Jani vo lake' instead of guiding and helping... Thank you so much for sharing this video.🙏

Even here faced the same situation this morning, I was waiting from 7.30 am till 8.40 am for registration but lastly got information that it's off today so to come tomorrow morning 😆

According to me only one doctor can't look after 70 to 80 patients in a day. So there should be 2 to 3 doctors for emergency.

Sir, Today I went to new market to buy some stuff..I parked my scooty at the two wheeler parking zone they charged Rs.10 for Toll on parking but there in Note it's written like.. The MANAGEMENT WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY KIND OF LOSS OR DAMAGE CAUSED TO THE VEHICLE DURING PARKING HOURS,PARK YOUR VEHICLE AT YOUR OWN RISK...if its park at ur own risk or no responsible for loss...Y are DMC charging Money from public........?can we get justification on dis....
Not only in dimapur, happens everywhere in our state.. Except for some hospital employees most of them are rude even the attendants standing at the doctor's door so the patients instead of being relieved to be healed aftr reaching the hospital are felt more let down by their attitude... Maybe most of the nurses specially are in ts profession out of compulsion for many reasons of their own... This goes out only for those doctors, nurses and staffs who lack in sympathy for the common people
Even my mom went to the hospital since she was diagnosed with dengue-positive but there was no doctor she was referred to.

Future leaders please look on the issues, Avail time for hospital is a must as human sickness are in constant it got no holiday, Changing Pattern will be more helpful and please avial enough doctors.

Through this GW News coverage may the concern Health and Family Welfare Minister deploy more Manpower especially for the Dimapur District Hospital as we see that there is a huge shortage of Doctors and Nurses 😅. Just imagine one Emergency Doctor for 60-70 patients 😢
U have addressed the issue rightly. In most of the Civil Hospitals in Nagaland, there is lack of Man power and it becomes extremely difficult for concerned Dr. to look after so many patients

I don't trust District hospital dimapur. It's more like a counciling office where patients will be suggested to go which hospitals will be good for them. Why do they call district hospital when they are not equipped with this generation machines.

Different case but even me got so disappoint at Nurse they behave so busy n very rude.... told me to come next day just to fill one form so till today m home irritating to visit District hospital Dimapur.

Last year i experienced the same reason, they first gave me some medicine to take for 1 week and advised me to come next week, when I went there after a week they told me that the doctor is absent today, come tomorrow. So i obeyed and went there again the next day but again the nurses said that the doctor went to his village don't know when he'll be back, said that they'll call me up when the doctor arrives. But several days no calls from them so I went there and told the doctor and nurses present there to refer me to another hospital if they cannot treat me as my face is swelling coz of tooth pain. Only then one nurse check me again and told me to come tomorrow, so I said what if the doctor is absent tomorrow also? Then she said, moi Khan try kuripo, eventually the next day I went there again and had a surgical extraction successfully, they were nice and treated me well, but don't know why they make excuses about the absence of doctors at first
