  • Those were so cute. Very creative. My kind of Christmas video. For your hair, ah don't worry about it. As long as people find you handy you're good.

  • They’re lovely! Thank you for a great video. I see you used a black pen to draw the eyes and buttons - ones I’ve used have all “bled” in to the wood. What make is your pen please? Thankyou.

    • Don't use ink pens. Use acrylic marker pens. there are lots of brands. I like Ziegler, but I think that one was an Aroic.

  • Well done. I make bottlestoppers, so thanks for that suggestion. What do they sell for? I'm terrible at pricing things.

    • I sell my snowman bottlestoppers for about $30 each and they sell at a rate where I can keep up through Nov/Dec.

    • The bodies were made with 8/4 maple (about 1.75" square) and the hats were stacks of three pieces of 4/4 walnut, so they ended up about 2.25" tall. Final dimensions of each snowman were about 3.5 inches tall altogether (2.25 body and 1.25 hat)

  • What is that pen that you are using - it seems to leave a nice ink/paint blob for the "coal" and signature

    • It's an acrylic paint marker. I belive it's Aroic(?) brand. Got a box of them off Amazon for art, but they work great for certain things in woodworking, too.
