Town of Salem 2 has different factions in it.
The Coven: The Dreamweaver, Enchanter, Illusionist, Medusa, Conjuror, Jinx, Ritualist, Coven Leader, Hex Master, Witch, Necromancer, Poisoner, Potion Master, Voodoo Master and Wildling
The Town: Coroner, Investigator, Lookout, Psychic, Seer, Sheriff, Spy, Tracker, Deputy, Trickster, Veteran, Vigilante, Jailor, Mayor, Monarch, Prosecutor, Bodyguard, Cleric, Crusader, Trapper, Admirer and Amnesiac
The Neutral Apocalypse: Baker, Famine, Berserker, War, Plaguebearer, Pestilence, Soul Collector and Death
Neutral Evil: Executioner, Jester, Doomsayer, Pirate
Neutral Killing: Arsonist, Serial Killer, Shroud and Werewolf
I like to imagine the wildling was absolutely freaking out while watching pipe's whispers on day 4 and only killed him over 1 out of sheer panic😂

Look on the bright side Pipe, you managed to convince the town that the mayor was an obvious evil/jest so they left him alone and he ended up pulling through when it counted. I call that a SKILLFUL WIN tbh
Coroner: D1 openly claimed hoping for a swift death, N1 no bodies to examine.
I hope the developers rework how corner is able to find evils. Like being able to autopsy multiple bodies and examining multiple people’s home to find who’s who. Or perhaps allow them to limit up to 3-4 players they can examine for the killer, but they must always choose the body at day to find who’s the killer.

I noticed 4's name and was like "huh funny, that's how I name myself sometimes," and then I slowly realised it actually was me. Anyhow, I should have died so much that game, how did I live all the way through??? (tbh everyone thought I was Jester, even the Wildling tried to push me in their last will 💀)

Town was actually lucky they didn't have any Vigi's or Deputies. 4 was acting so obviously evil the entire game.
I played coroner yesterday, from trying to get hanged to finding a coven leader and 2 other covens
How they haven't reworked the game yet with so many 'useful' roles is beyond me.

A good and easy way to buff corner could be letting the corner take in two bodies. Idk though

There's no need for sarcastic remarks regarding Coroner role, it's been reworked to be much better Investigator. Despite getting checks a night later, knowing the killer's role can be very powerful information for the Town. Checking Coven kill you'll learn which Coven role has Necromomicon, allowing Town to know that Coven roles with higher Necronomicon priority are not in the game. Checking Shroud kill you may learn the shrouded player exact role, confirming the player that appeared to visit the Shroud kill.

Coroner is a roll that is either useless or overpowered. When it pops off, it completely carries the game. Good luck on that though.

Coroner gaming
A coroner will often be hung for not autopsying someone if a kill happened, no matter the killer.
Pipe I played my first game of tos and died n1 as pois to an sk I visited
What if they change the death message to only say how the person died (shot, stabbed, torched, magical means), but not outright claim the alignment of the killer? Coroner will have more use in determining who the killer was, say if the victim was shot it could be vet, vigi or pirate with his pistol, magical means is mostlly coven, but can also be trickster, this way it'll be harder to be confirmed, but coroner will be the go-to role for confirmations.
imagine changing the whole game just to make one role slightly better. yeah nah
Give coven a role which can forge a death (between 1-3 times). Would allow a coven member to effectively claim Jailor ("execute") or similar strats, but would get hard countered by Coro. And Coro should be able to check people at night for ALL of the autopsies they have done. Would make them start out as incredibly weak but ramp up the more dead there are and the less people to check.

I love how often i hear pipe "who would inno that" while playing TOS2 myself ive seen the absolute worst innos i have ever witnessed. People in a single game decided to follow a jest that wrote "sheriff n1: 7 blood", a seer that had "4-15 WRONG" as their will and a psychic that had 3 different people as Evil vision 2 days in a row (no good vision). There were 10 town in that game btw and all 3 of those claims were not shot or hung.

I’ll be honest here, I feel like we give Coroner too much crap. I know, it’s a terrible role, but here me out, Investigator.
invest really isn’t that bad. it mainly catches neutrals but can also get book holder. It’s a nice dynamic with sheriff and invest imo
