Elden ring won game of the year 2022. Let's goooooooo.
That last part hit me about the crabs and lobsters. I think I accidentally spec'd completely to fight one crab on a beach somewhere just to grind for souls. I killed him so many times, he's not a threat to me anymore he just gives a thousand runes. I named him gerald. "Hi gerald! I'm here to murder you and your children again and harvest eggs I don't need!". Problem is that now my dude kind of only works well against crabs.
misjudging the jump and falling to your death is just too accurate. the amount of times i yelled "THIS HOP KILLED ME?" during my playthrough is astronomical
If you throw a rainbow stone off a cliff and it breaks, the fall will kill you. If it remains intact, you'll be ok.
Protip (from someone who is not a pro but I probably got it from a pro I don't remember): Fall damage in Elden Ring is calculated based on airtime instead of velocity for some reason. Don't double jump to break your fall, you will make it worse.

So, i'm legitimately impressed at just how MASSIVE the world of Elden Ring is. I'm not kidding. It practically beats out most MMORPG's. There's a staggering amount of stuff to do and explore.
There is a downside - its only that big 1st half of the game. Its gettin pretty narrow post Liurnia.
I think the funniest part was how when me and friends got past godrick then opened our maps and everytime went "what do you mean theres more" it felt like the more explore the more gets added......then the underground happens.
Still no endgame unfortunatly. Once you you beat it, perfect the build and do some PvP the game goes on the shelf. Hope they add something else.
It still has copy paste issue in the later half of the game but its relatively less than most open world games I have played , Some enemies like Deathbird variations or Glinstone dragons have different unique movesets alongside already seen one , Most of the unique Dragon fights actually takes place during later half like Placidusax , Fortissax or Lansseax Even though Godskin duo or Erd tree avatar felt lazy or a lot of optional dungeons have duo boss that just felt out of place , thank god there is a respec option because I did change my build multiple times as some of the bosses felt unfair for melee build , Overall From software did pretty amazing job considering its their first attempt at creating this large scale diverse seamless environments

Their negative response to Elden Ring's success is and should be worrying to gamers who want innovation in their future games.

@@olicc weak build then. You need to Google the boss, see his dmg negation vs different types of dmg. Holy Fire Blood Physical Magic Etc You might be hitting him with a type of dmg that he is reducing by 80% My best advice is go dual wield twinblade, you can alternate between fire, lightning, holy, blood, poisen, Frost or pure physical dmg simply by switching ashes on your twinblades. This will make all the difference, having the correct type of dmg for each boss. Example being, Elden beast (the last boss) is immune to all status effects (blood loss, rot, frost, poisen) Insane negation of fire, lightning and magic. Hitting him with holy DMG actually heals him. The only dmg type that wont be completely negated here is pure physical dmg. Therefore you need quality, heavy or keen ash on your twinblade, getting the strength / Dex scaling as high as possible, to have the highest amount of physical attack power possible. This way your actual dmg output won't be completely nerfed. And really - most of the time if you're finding a boss to be impossible, it's simply because you're using a dmg-type that the specific boss will reduce by 70%

🤣🤣🤣🤣. But I think it's better that the games treat us like we have brains instead of treating us like if we were idiots.
@@Nemo.404 Agree but it's still hilarious

@@SoadmanStreams lmao you beat me to it,there should be a hidden super boss called camera man =p
@@davidebrindisi925 man, you're going around a lot of comments leaving negative comments about Elden Ring as if it personally attacked you, everything ok?
You forgot to mention the part when you're planning to explore some area, only to forget it for days until you randomly remember that you haven't explored that part yet because you get distracted by some random ruins and caves Or maybe that's just me...
not just you, my dude.
That's me and Breath of the Wild.
Don't attack most of the players mate. That hurts on the spiritual level.
True story, every time I see loot i just go oh shiny, give me and forgets what i'm about to do
i've been meaning to do the crypt under the tutorial area for over a week now, and keep getting distracted!
I literally worked hard for the moonveil but then realised I’m a faith strength build

I like that Patches gets mentioned in the starring section. He deserves it.
I killed him on accident.big sad. I didn't realize he had a storyline.
I murdered him lol
And they just did the first patch :)-
I don't know why all the hate for that guy, he seems totally cool. He forgave me right away for stealing his clothes, I felt bad I couldn't just give him his drawers back.

Honestly the single most important strategy in the game. Without this, we'd all be banging our heads against Margit at level 8 or something, over and over... which would be a bad time, even compared to just Margit in general.
