    • To be fair, the speedrun doesn't get a full yellow belt of steel either. Just a bunch of half-belts. The closest it gets to a full belt of steel is I believe around purple science with around 70% of 1 belt of steel.

    • Yeah there's more than a little optimizing within the rules on map seed. Must technically have biters on, but can find a seed and limited map size that has no biter bases within the map for example. And the crazy good ore patches, etc. This is still absolutely wild even with the best imaginable map.
