The one reason I became a fan of Liverpool Football Club is their anthem 'You'll Never Walk Alone'. I love music and the fact that Beatles were formed in Liverpool attracted me more along with the club philosophy and mentality. I am happy that I am not one of those plastic fans who change clubs in the basis of where their favourite player plays. This club is not for the people who has only faced success in their lives the club stands for people who has failed in their lives but has hope in their hearts to walk on, keep trying they might fail again but end of the day their is a golden sky. YNWA.
That is absolute class, been a red for 53 years and now my sons are all reds. How can anybody not be a red it really does baffle me when you see our history. YNWA

I started supporting Liverpool back when Liverpool had Barnes-Beardsley-Aldridge. It was sad to watch Liverpool lose the 1988 FA Cup final. Then there had been ups (the 2001 Treble, 2005 Champions League) and downs (I stopped supporting Liverpool after Gerrard left for LA Galaxy because I thought there was no other player I felt connection with). When Klopp came along, I got curious a little bit. But I didn't return to supporting Liverpool until after the 4-0 miracle over Barcelona in 2019 Champions League semifinal 2nd leg. Boy, how I'm glad I did. Klopp really turned me from a doubter to a believer.
What a wonderful idea to have a local Liverpool kid narrate the interwoven journey of his ancestors and the history of our great club. The Club has left an indelible mark on your family and I'm sure you'll cherish your heritage for the rest of your life. Thank you for sharing the kind of story fans like me love to hear. I felt like i destined to support this club. My reason? Not the YNWA chant, not the history, not the all magical matches, but one person, Gerrard. I still remember how my da so obsessed with him, he stickered a "gerrard" and number 8 on his bike helmet. And since then i fall in love with this club. Best thing for me! YNWA
