  • Thank you for the journey, due to ill health (been for a while) medication and age I can't travel, in fact I'm also limited in my own country (New Zealand) due to not being able to drive due to medication. So watching you (especially full-screen) takes me to a place I can't go in person. So thank the internet and you tube but most of all thank you for showing me a huge chunk of your country. Keep on trucking and I'll keep watching.

  • Parker dam is the deepest dam in the world. I started going to the Parker strip in 1960. My folks leased a trailer at Echo Lodge on "A row" in the 70's. Great memories.

Yeah it's older but very enjoyable to stay at. Great people and the best food at the Tiki Bar and club house. We will be headed there in a few weeks. Thanks for whetting my appetite! Lol!

  • Russ, this is funny. I was in Parker today. Went to check out some of the places you suggested. Went up to the Dam, some of the floating bars on the river, Bill William's Refuge, BlueWater resort. As I drove on the 95 I wondered if I would come across you and your White Mother Ship (now that you have an E-Bike). Last night I stayed in the London Bridge area at one of the resorts. Had a nice dinner and great walk with my wife. The area is fantastic. Just got home to the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles. I drove my EV and discovered Range Anxiety is a waste of time. They have chargers everywhere. I'm hoping to go to Oatman and feed the Burros before it starts to get really cold. Thank you for all the tips.

There use to be a little grocery store which we would go to.Spent hours on the river and crossed over the dam hundreds of times for 5 years. My dad use to be apower plant operator there. The hippies use to love this area.

However, the northern stretch of the California side you drove through in this video looks pretty much the same as it did 50 years ago, semi-rural.

I stopped there twice in 2017 and 2018 in July and it was gawdawful HOT. I was literally alone in the campground but the Ranger made me pay full price for a site with no commodities. California is expensive and the personnel is rude towards visitors. Anyway I love your videos ! CHEERS ! RICHARD
