@@tf2368 So by that logic pole vaulters, archers, shooters, skiers, bobsledders, skaters, hockey players, lacrosse players, etc. are not athletes because they need a tool to accomplish the task given by their sport. Sorry, but I don't think that opinion would be shared by probably the vast majority of the world. That and do you even realize how hard it is to drive one of those cars? The levels of physical exertion easily exceed many other sports such as the aforementioned archery, shooting, bobsledding, ski, skating, and in all honesty is probably on par with a running race of similar time. Stack on the fact that you have to be thinking through lines, manage fuel and tyre wear, and set up overtakes, and it looks like we have a sport on our hands; and wanna know what we call poeple that do sports? Athletes.

Yes it's true but he was born with everything to be good, he grew up in a good family, rich and in the most separate part of France, the safest without any delinquency surrounded only by sons of rich families. school and outside, because Monaco is a little paradise but it is very, very expensive so yes he is a good guy and I like him a lot but in this environment I am not surprised that he has become this kind of guy .

If I'm honest, as someone who grew up often feeling hungry, in ugly village and depressed people, there is always part of me that looks at this and thinks how unfair life can be, that some are born into such a good life. You can tell he grew up living the best life, best parents, money, all the best things, dream career, he is good looking, smart etc. And part of me would normally be jealous. Yet somehow for Charles I don't mind and he seems like the kind of person who hasn't been spoiled by it all. I'm actually happy for him. He is such a great human being and I wish him even more good things to come.

Hard work is those who weak up at 6 in the morning brake their back and struggle to get to the end of the month. The kid was born in Monaco in a multi million $ house and I would be caucus to use the ward “hard”. Anyhow trying to be the N1 in F1 isn’t easy.

You don't need to be a F1 driver, a celebrity, or even an actor to create a life that you can idolize and be proud of. Can’t really see what he deserved there by himself… Nevertheless he’s as really good F1 driver of course and therefore earns a lot of money. The part where he talks about his dad and his family is so moving. For such a young boy he has incredible maturity. There's only to learn from him.
Charles is the only guy on the grid who is forever positive about his fellow drivers- regardless of his own circumstances during the race, he will always compliment his competition(aside from magnussen). Very good role model
I think losing a parent at a relatively young age forces people to realize what is truly important in life, and with that comes maturity
I think this is also the reason of why he is different from most of the other drives on the grid. He is young but never spoiled, so is his driving. You can feel his sincerity and his emotions when he is talking. We are so lucky to have him in Ferrari.

A body in motion tends to stay in motion and the discipline and maturity Charles displays shows he is on the correct path to legacy level greatness. I am thinking you are 37-38. As am I. About to shoot my first feature film this December but it's so hard to be in motion. I could have made my film and established my production house at 23 if I had this fantastic kids ethos and principles. But it's hard. Always in my mind. Introspecting. Pondering. When I feel bad I go back to his videos because he gives me motivation and inspires me to keep pushing no matter what just like what he is doing. Plus he is fun to watch and he has a great mindset.
Back when you asked what content we want to see, one of my answers was life in Monaco! Didn’t expect to get that so soon! I had a chance to visit Monaco a few years ago when I was traveling in South of France, but I opted it out thinking it only has a casino. I wasn’t into F1 at that time. Now I wished I had seen Monaco myself! Anyway, dear Charles, we all know you are a champion material, I’m sure you know very well too. So as long as you don’t let the previous chaos break you, the time will come. I wish you a wonderful summer break and second half of the season.
He doesn't know it yet because he is a very self conscious person who makes himself smaller than he is. This season will be important for his growth and I'm absolutely sure he has what it takes to do it down the line. Maybe not this year but the time will definitely come. And hey maybe Ferrari gets it together this season

Yeah true, I thought about that jealousy thing, too. But I have to tell you, this guy has such a big heart and soul which both shine through this video and he is such a positive role model for this sport and of how to see things in life and treat other people, that I grant him every bit of it and would even put something on top for him.

There's nothing supporting your opinion! Talent wise, he's as good as Hamilton, Verstappen and Alonso, but he didn't demonstrated to be as complete as they are at the moment!
@@quentinhirschfeld9382 That's why I said in my opinion. I believe without Ferrari’s mismanagement and bizarre Strategic calls, he would have a healthy championship lead. He drove the wheels of that Ferrari last season. And outshone a 4-time world champion significantly in his first season at Ferrari.
@@richards9750 I actually think his 2021 season was a bit disappointing compared to his 2020 season (his best so far imo), he struggled (by his standards) on some tracks and never truly did magics in qualifying (you're going to talk about Monaco and Baku, but the Ferrari had excellent one lap pace and his poles were "saved" both times by red flags). The car didn't really suited his style though, it had an "understeery" behavior (which favored Sainz), has to be said. Regarding current season, even by adjusting results by pure performance, he would've still be behind Verstappen (not by much) despite having what is arguably the best car at the moment (at least, this is what datas are saying so far).
@@quentinhirschfeld9382 I believe his second in Silverstone last season was terrific too. He was only lost that race to a Mercedes on fresh tyres. I remember some of the drives he had for Alfa and the back-to-back-to-back championships before he was promoted to F1. The only current F1 driver to have done that.
