Try Headspace for 60 days for free: headspace-web.app.link/e/XB Use code: BUDNICK
Headspace and mediation have done wonders for my well-being so honestly it's completely worth trying out :)
I spent 5 days on a deserted island 50miles of the coast of central America on the Pacific side with no food, no water and no shelter and only limited gear.
A special Thanks to desertislandsurvival.com and @wildsurvivalskills for the Training :)

  • Tip for coconut. Remove the husk after drinking the water. Then roast it. It will produce some oil. Put oil on skin. Instant moisturizer and insect repellent

    • @LEMAO-hm3hg but he didn't want to climb as it clearly was using to much energy and it wasn't as easy as just poking them down. You can't test a coconut that's hanging on the palm. It needs to already have been hit to the floor at which this time he might as well drink it regardless of it having much coconut water inside, due to him being on an island for 5 days. You don't get picky when in that situation.

  • My primary takeaway from this video is simply how much time and effort it takes a "primitive man" to simply not die. You spend the majority of your waking moments just trying to get water and food and not be killed by the elements. Quite amazing and a real testament to how impactful the concept of cultivating plants and animals was. Without that, we'd still all be scrabbling for the basics.

Here in Florida we got swamps and over the corse of the camp out we each filled a gallon jug and let it settle we separated the clean water from the bio mud and then left the water in a clear jug for a day and drank it and it was just fine.

  • Drinking too much coconut water can cause diarrhea in some people. Coconut water is high in potassium, which can lead to an electrolyte imbalance and diarrhea if consumed in excess. Coconut water also contains fermentable oligosaccharides, disaccharides, monosaccharides, and polyols (FODMAPs), which are short-chain carbohydrates that can cause digestive issues like diarrhea.

    @bUtMyRiGhTs@bUtMyRiGhTs25 күн бұрын
    • In the beginning of drinking only coconut water lets say for survival, the electrolytes can cause a top down colonic rinsing out the small/large intestines. It's important to keep perspectives on things. After the intestines clean out old processed food/etc, the body can optimize its use of the coconut water & the body's digestion will adapt to the coconut water electrolytes.

This tree offers you life. Eating nuts, drinking water, building hut with leaves...Hope you will find also tropical fruit trees inside the island. Hope as well you will make a mat with coconut leaves, you need practice for that. Here are some advices : 1-Not drinking too much coconut water, more you drink more you will never be satisfied. 2-Make fire smoke to distant mosquitos 3-Use Hermite crabs to catch fish. Big friendly hugs from Tahiti French Polynesia. Have a good and safe trip stunning Xander.😊

  • Coconut water is a diuretic, so while it does have a bunch of nutrients (though not all the nutrients you need), it isn't sustainable for long-term hydration. For that, you likely need to find a freshwater source you can pot and boil or create a solar still to convert seawater to drinkable water, both of which are easier said than done. As for nutrients, if you add cooked clams or crabs and seaweed to your coconut diet that should satisfy the full repertoire of nutrients your body needs to survive indefinitely. Finally, just as a general rule for survival: never sweat more than you can afford. Always try to figure out how to do the most you can with the least amount of work. Our strength as humans is in our brains first and our persistence second.

    @ZarHakkar@ZarHakkar18 күн бұрын
    • The body gets adapted to coconut water in survival situations. In my view, coconut water becomes the perfect survival food & drink, after the body adapts from eating processed modern foods/products/etc. Initially, coconut water rinses out the intestines of old junk, it's important to keep perspectives, as the body will be adjusting from modern foods/drinks. After the body let's go of old waste rinsed by the coconut water, then the body can acclimate to utilizing the coconut water hydration etc. Many of the "concepts" society shares about health and survival are full of distorted misinformation. In general, when humans are suddenly put into survival mode, the body often goes through a cleansing process, where it let's go of old waste - can include diarrhea, fevers, etc as the body let's go of old toxic modern addictive processed foods & products. A living body is always in adaptive transition with its changing environment
