    • @@harleyyoung9585those are called side pipes. I was born in 68 myself, and in 78 I got to hear first hand when my dad installed a set on an old f-150 with a 351. Sounded real close to this and was fast enough to send my scared butt running to my mommas arms. That same year I started working on engines right next to my dad. And I've installed everything from a full flowmaster job on a 92 mustang with a carbed 302 from the headers back, all the way to a 2007 HHR with the 2.4L, a stainless shorty, single pipe, hollowed cat, and a carbon fiber can muffler. Which actually sounded good enough to get several questions asking what kind of work it had done to it. And no, it wasn't stock internals. So having said all that, just what does muscle car flow mean? Unless u think that a muscle car sound is what u hear from modern muscle cars. At any rate, muscle cars of that era that were heavily modified had all kinds of exhaust notes. So your comment made no sense.

    • Being a “car/truck guy” myself, I agree that it’s one of the best sounds ever created. I think that’s half the reason why you see these little four bangers with these HUGE tailpipes because they’re TRYING TO MAKE IT SOUND LIKE A MAN’S CAR!!! They CAN’T though because they’re just little “RICE BURNERS” as we used to call them, and those stupid VW cars have them too and they also sound like *HIT!! Those are the kind of people who think it’s got “power” because they put a turbo on it…they don’t realize that REAL car guys KNOW THERE’S NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT!!” The V8’s MAKE REAL/LEGITIMATE POWER NOT “turbocharged” power which is another way of saying MANUFACTURED “POWER”!!!

  • I agree, absolutely beautiful! However, look closely, it's a 1967, not a '68. Starting in 1968 all cars had to have side marker lights, amber on the front fender, red on the quarter panels. Still, a super nice Mustang, regardless. My personal favorite is the 1969, with the 4 headlights and side scoops.
