Completely agree, this would be an amazing sport to have in the Olympics. Straight forward formula and extremely exciting.

Couldn't imagine a 3/8 blade cut on this! I played for 16yrs, have also done motocross and black diamonds many years and between ice and jumps/drops, can respect how hard this has to be to get used to. Definitely needs to be put in the olympics.

Thank you, Red Bull! I loved this. They have a snowboard kinda version of this in the Olympics. Hopefully this will be there one day, too. I’m from both a hockey and skateboarding background, so I really appreciate this type of event.
Ski cross and snow board cross is an Olympic event and it is the exact same as this, so hopefully this will be an Olympic event too in the near future
I mean, the snowboarding/skiing version came first. This is a recent skating version of that. To be honest, I want this to become a bigger sport.

Havent seen sports in so long during the 2020 quarantine. Now I'm invested in a winter sport that was held in 2019, I find myself cheering for skaters I know nothing about, and waiting for the referee reviews. My body is on a rollercoaster of emotions just like sports in my time, kiddo. Oh how I wish for the NFL to return. The highlight of my days now consists of trips to walmart and grilling on my back deck. The food is tasteless, my moral is down, but the crashes ice classic of 2019 has sparked a gleaming sparkle of hope, in a once barren land of viruses and face masks. Thank you.

When you grew up in the 80s and Skateboarded, Surfed, played Ice Hockey and dirtbikes and realized the things you did for fun would become extreme sports or a sport...I've bombed hills coffin style.(laying flat on you're back on your're board downhill) on my back over 50 MPH down the rolling bluff roads of the North Shore of Long Island lol
