The issue with Vegas is that no one who was on the team prior to asim has stepped up in the comms in respawn to keep their systems going. When you plug and play the new guy CANNOT replace your main director in the respawns because hes NEW. he doesnt know the system like the people who hav been there since day one. Asim is there to follow directions and give you more kills but soemone else has to step up in giving DIRECTION to the team.
nah, you can absolutely plug and play with a new guy to lead comms and direction, the in-game leader is a role after all. Ideally you would bring the guy up to speed on the system as it stands currently (this really shouldnt take more than a week) and then the rest of the team needs to make sure they follow his approach. After a few scrims and matches you'd expect to see the in-game leader offering suggestions for new strats that incorporate their knowledge of cod and other teams/pros and that complement the teams play styles. That said, im not really sure if thats why they brought in Asim but its just more about the fact you can totally bring in a new player to lead if required, probably wouldnt be bringing in anyone mid-season who doesnt have at least some experience playing at the pro level for this role, but its totally doable.
@@Jockuptown you can absolutely bring in a guy that can bring in a new system but that’s the the entire point. It’s a NEW system brought in by a new guy. The only way to learn a new system as a new guy is to be taught that system by someone who knew the old systems. If no one steps up then the new guy has to have complete control over the new systems he’s bringing in to the team.

Seattle roster change has made this team one of my favorites. I watched an interview with arcitys saying he wasn’t excited to go to lan and it’s hard to back a depressing attitude like that. These changes and improvements have me hyped to watch y’all’s matches. Let’s go surge #drownthemout

I dont know if anyone has noticed but Bruce is just chilling with no spotlight/scrutiny on his performance day in day out. He's not had to play out of his skin to win a map which was the case whenver they played against LAT/Faze/Ultra over the past few years. There might be more left in the tank hope he brings everything to champs. (Kenny and LAT fan here)

If we all remember BEN said NYSL would finish bottom 6 last year during MW2 because they had this same thing happen to them and then they won champs... better not to peak this early. Faze look dominant, but who knows what happens with the final patch of the game.
I keep seeing people make this comparison, are people forgetting that NY won the 1st event, and had the MVP of the league last year. They literally started hot, cooled off, and then finished hot, this year they've started slow (T12) and have continued to be slow. Can they turn it around yes of course but why have I seen people pretending NY came out of nowhere last year 😅

@@avalope Not necessarily. Faze has been Optic's hard counter this year just like Optic has been Faze's counter in the past. It's more about the match-up. Last year NYSL won, but teams still made roster changes with Faze in mind.

@@avalope Why would you do that? Over the past couple years Faze and to a much lesser degree Ultra are the only consistent teams. Faze is the only team to average a 1-2 placing over the CDL era. Teams like LAT or NYSL weere great foe their respective years, but not consistent. Faze being the goal post is logical, especially when optic isn't struggling with any other team.

@@Lilquan2004 sometimes I listen to this show and I think they get lost in Ben’s yapping, people blacking out, shit spawns team rosters, etc that none of the shit that’s going on outside of the league that doesn’t have to do with Twitter drama gets no attention. There’s tournaments being ran with teams of players we’ve never seen or will never see play along side each other in the league.

Maybe purj looked so bad had a lot to do with the rest of the team. Poor comms, nobody playing as a team, nobody doing the little things, and leaving it to purj to try to carry more than he actually can. Perhaps a better team and he'd be able to focus more on his individual performance.
