    • Warren Valion I always imagine a story playing out when I hear music. When I hear this song, I see an alien species causing a neutron star to go supernova with some new weapon of war. Realizing how much more quickly the explosion increased in size, they flee, narrowly escaping the explosion.

    • So weird, but yeah. I don't know how or from where, but this song kinda just entered my brain one day when I was like 8 years old, and I remembered the gist of the tune for ages, but I could never find out where it was from or what it was, until just a couple years ago (freaking 12 YEARS LATER) my older brother was like "oh yeah that's the soundtrack from Requiem for a Dream" and I freaked out a little. I damn near snapped my own neck with how quickly I turned to my computer to look it up. It was so, so surreal and strange to actually listen to it for real after SO MANY years of not knowing where it was from

  • I was listening to this song while doing leg lifts. Half way through the set, legs started quivering and abs started to burn.....and about the time I was almost ready to give in to the pain..... 3:22 got into full swing. The quiver and the burn didn't matter any more.
