  • He tapped before Ryan even started pulling the ankle. It was over

    @timothyramos8350@timothyramos8350 Жыл бұрын
    • That’s because you don’t really “pull” the ankle. If you look closely, Gordon had heel exposure with his left forearm, hooking the heel, prior to getting his right hand free that is actually why both were frantic to fight over the control of the right arm at that point. Once it came towards meeting his left hand to complete the heel hook, the most sensible thing is to tap and avoid injury. Quite common. Your right…checkmate.

      @SilentSamurai8@SilentSamurai8 Жыл бұрын

Cyborg would have stalled the takedowns for what? I think it’s funny. Kicking a moving opponent even butt scooting isn’t an easy task either haha. That’s what he wants is for you to close the distance. You sound like someone who can’t control your emotions. And I doubt you’ve ever competed in any kind of combat competitions.

BJJ while only just barely squeezing into the category of combat sports is indeed considered to be in that category and the way they train and compete should at least vaguely resemble some way of degending yourself. Not but scooting. The only self defence situation that guy is ready for is if he had an itchy bumhole while his hands were tied.

    • @C L yep I'd rather have that skill in my back pocket than not, cause if he grabs you you're dead

  • They call this the strongest grappler ever? Sitting grappler on the floor the while time until he puts on the usual leg lock one trick? Grappling is becoming ridiculous these days. Good old bjj was meant to be effective in vale tudo and the streets

    • Lol Not sure people call him the strongest as in “physical strength“. There’s no doubting he’s certainly the most successful at black belt. …and don’t get it twisted, Gordon goes chest to chest and smashes guys all the time. His number one submission is by rear naked choke. Can’t get more effective than that for MMA and Vale tudo.

    • @@andreamantovani5354 🤣😂I’m a black belt in judo AND Jiu Jitsu. WTF are you talkin’ about? I’ve been training and competing for 20 years, not counting wrestling in HS. You act like this man didn’t spend all summer smashing guys only to smash Galvão from the top, take his back and RNC him.

    • @@andreamantovani5354 FYI, I went to brown under Ralph Gracie, training at Renzo’s while occasionally in NY and got my black from “Gumby”. No questioning my lineage.
