Ingredients
Sauce
1 Tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp rice vinegar or Mirin
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp Korean Chile gochugaru
2 tbsp gochujang
Final Dish
2 tbsp minced garlic
1 tsp grated ginger
8 cups of thinly sliced Cabbage or your choice of vegetable
1 lb fresh udon noodles
½ cup of scallions
¼ cup Roasted sesame seeds
Olive oil
Garnish
Scallions for Garnish (Optional)
Preparation
1. Mix the sauce in one bowl using all the ingredients listed under the sauce section.
2. Cut your choice of vegetables into thin slices.
3. In a separate pot, cook the udon noodles for about 3 minutes until they float to the surface, and continue to cook for another 2 minutes.
4. Take a 10-12 inch pan and add 2 tbsp cooking oil. Add the minced garlic, scallions, and grated ginger into the pan and stir it for a minute.
5. Then add in all the vegetables and stir it.
6. Place the Gochujang sauce into the pan with ¼ cup of roasted sesame seeds and udon noodles.
7. Garnish it with scallions/green onions.
