Thule introduces the market's first trailer hitch-mounted tent. What's the advantage over a roof tent? When camping, there's no need to fold the tent before using your vehicle! Simply detach it. THULE 'Outset' will be available for order starting from spring 2024. The tent was announced in Germany at around €4000. It weighs approximately 70kg, we've been informed.

Yeah you could definitely use the horses and carriage to move it around...Or you could use your car/suv/truck like it was designed and demonstrated with...But you do your thing man.
There are difference levels of camping.
Super jelly, tempted to throw $1000 for it, use it once or twice camping during the summer, then figure out where to put it for the rest of the year!
That depends on how you use your brain believe me i had one and it was multipurpose.

Какой-то Вы неправильный! Вот что может с Вашим прицепом произойти?.. Да ничего! Никакой романтики. А тут: разложился, всё аккуратно расставил и умиротворённый пошел по делам. Приходишь, а в этой фильдиперсовой палатке на ножках после даже небольшого ветерка всё к едреней фене в хлам испоганено, так как никакого веса, только парусность в этой приблуде. И хорошо, если только перевёрнуто всё вверх дном, а если и с фаркопа не отстегнулась, то и по бортам вашего автомобильчика натарабанило... Так что рихтовщики Вам будут рады, если Вы с этой новомодной "малосемейкой" на отдых поедете. А с Вашим прицепом и вспомнить то нечего, кроме как отдохнул и ничего не делал!..
К тому же эта чудо-палатка будет стоить минимум 400 т.р. За эту цену можно купить много раз номер в отеле с видом куда захочешь

I like it. Not too big, plenty of ventilation and a nice flat floor wherever you are. And, you don’t have to climb up on top of your truck to sleep.

Такая сложная и тяжелая конструкция, ради небольшой неподвижной палатки. Единственный плюс, это приподнятый пол.

Se me hace muy impractico (si bien el video no muestra de donde salió la base ni como la armaron); sin importar, ir cargando eso detrás del auto, no es seguro, porque eso modifica el centro de gravedad del auto, pudiendo generar problemas de control, sobretodo en situaciones de compromiso. Sería muy interesante ver un moose test y demás pruebas de desempeño con esa cosa ahí detrás. Primero sin y luego con ... Y que el conductor externe sus impresiones. Apuesto a que la conducción empeorará.

it helps, it gets to be above the ground, is solid build unlike a backpack ground laying. the roof gives more space,etc.... We can not compare apples with oranges...
