  • Guys, whatever we say about these athletes, what they do is incredible. they all deserve congratulations for taking part in these games. Unfortunately, in order to catch these times in a natural way, it is impossible. You have to take strong anabolic and new generation drugs. with chicken and rice this thing does not happen. they all deserve congratulations, sport unites and does not divide.

  • so how does Noah Ohlsen not do the movement standards on the splits and not get no rep on the movement when BKG is moving 2 feet and Noah only moved his back foot. I get it the judges are human and make mistakes but it looks like every rep. that 100 reps. On a positive I do want to say thanks for putting these out on youtube.

    • If you're referring to the last set where they are racing, it's a hang clean and jerk, not SPLIT jerk but lots of people chose that. The snatches where SPLIT (first 10 reps after the DU). So they can choose how much they move the jerk feet in the last set. The split BKG got that no rep, he didn't fully stand in the SPLIT (heel has to be off the ground) and lock out the elbow, before bounding forward and recovering. If you watch closely, he kind of loses his balance. Specifically the way Noah is planting his forward foot is determining his stability and he isn't off balance. BKG did it twice losing that foot plant. No bending of the elbow lockout BEFORE the foot is locked in the jerk. The other issue is that BKG is not MOTIONLESS on the lower portion of the body, before unlocking his elbow from the jerk. Your lower body cannot be in motion before descending from the jerk. It sucks, but you can tell Noah practiced these. LOL. The hang clean and jerk, does not have to be a split (last ten before finish). And if you go back and listen, your opposite foot is "forward", that doesn't mean it has to be visible distance or visibly "move". That is the stance of a jerk. You don't have to have your front foot move super far. It is bent, and the dumbbell is received in this stance, major focus on the back foot and motionless lower body. The more your feet move out, the lower you can "dip" to receive the dumbbell. So BKG is moving his legs further apart, so he can receive the dumbbell in a lower position for stability. These are HEAVY. Noah has really good reps here and a great solid planted stance for stability. Hope this helps.

    • go back and watch the first set from the side. His foot is moving. There is no standard on how far your forward foot needs to come from your hip positioning. Jerk received in a bent knee.

  • Noah's judge should reevaluate his career choice. BKG was doing a full proper split every rep where Noah was just stepping back and front foot stayed planted. This reduced the range of motion hence speeding up the reps. Noah is known for this. Did it in the banger and cheated in 2017 and this year in the quarter finals DB hang cleans shorting the range of motion. Glad they caught him and penalized him on that one though. Gives CF a bad name for poor judging.

And then immediately transition into a hang clean and jerk? 2 different movements here. Where he no repping man?
