My partner and I have been on them too... calling in doubles almost every time out. We hunted a new spot yesterday that is set up like that kind of a "bowl" on the north side of a valley, even told him this looks just like something O'Neil Ops would hunt. Never hunted and we're the only ones with permission. 8:30 am walked into the fields to hear the pack yipping/howling down in the bowl. We setup about 150yds from there "thick hardwoods in bottom of bowl" and in 8 minutes of the Foxpro running 2 came in hot from UP wind....rolled one other got away. It was over in less than 10 seconds!! You can tell the dogs have never been called before. It was awesome!!!

Great footage and I appreciate the detailed 411 as to the setting and the equipment used. At the 11:45 mark you mention "I pre-program my remote" with the intent to get the lead or the second coyote to give you a chance for a follow-up shot. If you don't mind sharing, what "trigger sound" do you have set-up on the FoxPro for this? Looking forward to more videos. Thanks.

Nice little kill zone. Only way I could imagine it to be "dreamier" is if the dog's movement could be canalized with natural barriers to stay inside observation lanes/fields of fire. Basically deter them from those dead spaces where it is difficult to monitor them (like the depression into which the female ran and briefly obscured her movement). All in all gents, an impressive set as always.

This is part of the job of being a rancher. If you had watched the video, you would have known that they were asked to come in and take care of these predators. They were protecting a heard of cattle and a rancher's livelihood. These shots were as humane as it comes, those coyotes didn't feel a thing. They do NOT get joy from hurting animals. If you don't like it, don't watch the videos.
