Claw grip for controller users is a technique that allows players to press the controller buttons while keeping their thumb on the right stick and the middle finger on the trigger(s).

It definitely takes time to train your brain to go from playing standar to playing claw, I remember when bought my ps4 back paddles it toke me 4 days to get a custom to it. So for those want to learn claw technique this is a great video to watch.

Miss playing claw like crazy. Unfortunately after an injury from a deployment to Afghanistan I can no longer play claw due to mobility issues with my wrist and hands. I had to learn how to play with paddles. It is so crazy to see how far the Baka Bros have come. Wish you and the Baka Bros nothing but success and happiness.

Hey lucky I tried claw on my xbox controller and it's really hard , not only that but getting the ability to jump shot would help in situations when 1v4-ing a team , been looking at a getting around a controller with paddles . It will take your game to the next level. The hardest part is going to be adjusting your aim for the new grip. Once you get it dialed in there’s nothing like it. Claw grip >>>> paddles

If your hand is small you need to play 3 finger claw the same concept but you need to press you r2 with your ring finger

It took me about a month to master standard claw on Xbox controller. I can honestly say it changed the way I play the game and I can see improvement.
What should I use for my button layout
That’s crazy it took you a whole month. It only took me 2-3 hours to master. I played for 10 hours straight after I mastered claw because it felt so good and made me an absolute unit on the sticks. Guess we all learn at our own pace 🤷♂️ cheers

I started playing claw 2 years ago. It was hard at first but I got used to it. I used a standard PS4 controller and play left-handed claw.
Been holding claw since 2011 cuz of trickshotting, warzone was the easiest adapt ever tbf. So smooth to hold claw.

from the beginning of time itself, I've always played claw. when I started playing warzone about 5 to 8 months ago, someone asked me if I play with a scuf control or if I play claw. I told him I play normal? until I saw someone else hold a controller playing warzone that I don't play normal. anyways Lucky, you are how I wanna be playing and my movement is getting better by the weeks go by. I use a ps5 control, but sometime I want to switch over to pc and play using a control(not sure whats best for pc) but whenever that day comes i will still be using my console and the controls it came with.

I only started using paddels on my scuf controller over the few years but find myself switching in and out of right claw occasionally because of old habbits. :)

Too much money and those custom controllers are too unreliable, especially for the price. Learn to play claw and save yourself hundreds of dollars in the long run.

I used to use a standard ps4 controller when I was on console, but I recently made the leap to PC. Since then I’ve been splitting time between M&K and an xbox elite controller. That controller is so much heavier than a standard ps4 controller though so I’ve been thinking about figuring out how to set that up or get a scuf.

I have a standard controller and I learned claw because of you. but a week ago a friend let me try his scuff controller and I was absolutely cracked so it would mean a lot to me if i won that controller.
I’ve had a scuf and I prefer claw over paddles. I feel way more cracked when I play claw than I do with paddles. To each their own. Not to mention a standard controller cost $60 brand new and scuf is 3-4 times that amount. So for me it’s an obvious choice… claw grip for life 🪝

For me it’s much MUCH easier to play claw on ps5 controller. It all comes down to personal preference. I have bigger hands than average, so that’s probly why. I’m assuming your hands are small

Save your money, learn to play claw. Your wallet with thank you. That being said, claw isn’t for everyone. Some people just can’t handle the claw. For me personally, claw is the only way to play. Claw grip for life 🪝
