CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Sidney (Neve Campbell) is the special guest of the high school's Cinema Club, and it's here where she and Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) learn about the new rules of horror movies for the 21st Century.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) comes face to face with her greatest fear after returning home to Woodsboro and getting caught in the center of another bloodbath in this sequel from director Wes Craven and screenwriter Kevin Williamson. Touring the country in promotion of her new self-help book, Sidney arrives in Woodsboro and quickly reconnects with her old friend Sheriff Dewey (David Arquette), who has recently gotten married to Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox). Though a much-welcomed family reunion with her aunt Kate (Mary McDonnell) and cousin Jill (Emma Roberts) goes a long way in helping Sidney lay her tragic past to rest, old fears come back with a vengeance when Ghostface reappears on a murderous mission to make up for lost time.

    • sgillman16 I knew it was Jill from the very first announcement trailer. Growing up in the 80's & watching many horror movies, cartoons & anime, if theres 1 thing worse than a boyfriend/girlfriend killer its a relative killer & that relative would most likely be jealous that someone in the family is getting attention & becoming a celeb in a way. I knew that Jill would be the killer cuz growing up knowing that Sidney got the attention & became celeb cuz she survived her murders mustve pissed her off & made her jealous & her motivation was clear cuz she wanted her 15 mins of fame

      @senorbusyman@senorbusyman3 жыл бұрын
    • @@sgillman16 The problem with Jill's entire subplot, and motives, is that she and others weren't introduced in the original films. Her entire existence is random and not given enough emotional weight to the storytelling the same way Roman failed in Scream 3. It was only at the convenience of being involved and twisting the narrative so audiences would feel surprised. Admittedly, I was when it was initially unveiled but the context following it wasn't helping since we literally never saw enough interaction among them and others. It's a shame but Emma Roberts could've at least been replaced with someone sooner so years later it'd make more sense.

    • It’s theorised that Kirby is still alive. In the scream wiki page where it tells you who killed who (as most movies had 2 masked killers), Kirby is not officially dead. We seen her lying on the ground, severely injured yes, but alive. No other death in Scream was shown like that, Even both of Dewey’s near fatal stabbings made you believe he was dead, both times. If she isn’t even mentioned in the new film next year, I guess then she is officially dead.

  • scream movies are supposed to be about teens who have seen horror movies and know about this, but tbh scenes like this bother me, cause if scream is supposed to be more realistic people would normally be gentler and more respectful when talking about real life murders, here they are just talking about cool it is, especially with the Stab movies which literally glorify real life innocent people being killed..
