Better built than the same priced gaming laptops,thats a winner to me Super rigid hinge,can be opened by 1 hand,a little cooler than the same g3 or pavilion

Love this laptop. It’s a monster for sure!! It’s good as is: I got the one with the 8gb Ram and 500 SSD. I still don’t see the need to updated but luckily I already have a 1tb SSD and another 8gb laying around. Just make sure the extra ram it’s the same as the one it comes with bc I’ve made that mistake a while ago. Anyway love this laptop should still be great for many years to come.
Right? I got the 256gb with 8gb ram for a very good price. Since then upgraded to 16gb. Still have to get more ssd
This laptop should be good for gaming but the idea pad c340 is good too you don't get high fps mostly 30 to 40 but graphics are still pretty good

I luv this gaming laptop i can get 60-80 fps on fortnite high settings and 100-200 in some valorant maps ( i got the blue version to have a slight feel of gaming)

Hello, I don't know if I'm the only one that happens to it, but the brightness of this laptop is not very good, when it is at 100 it seems that it is a little less, and when you lower it to the minimum 0, it literally looks black and you can't see unless you upload it, I don't know if the laptop is like that or if I'm the only one that happens to it

I have it with 1T in hhd, the battery get drain very easy and faster compare with a thinkpad that I have at work. But for the price is good.

i have the exact same laptop. Did you experience any problem with screen flickering when starting a game? Whenever i start league of legends my screen starts to flicker in rgb colors. After a couple of times alt tabbing it fixes itself and i can play the game. But whenever i alt tab again it starts flickering. Do you know the problem or a fix? Ive tried alot of things. FYI customer service gave me a new laptop but it has the same issues... Thanks in advance!
That is strange. I haven't experienced any screen flickerings so far.. I'm afraid I don't know how to help you on this
That is something i also experience with league of legends. It only happens in LoL. There is nothing wrong with the hardware and it’s just a software glitch I think.

Bro when using hdmi on this laptop does it use the gtx 1650 or the igpu as it doesn't have the mux switch like the legion 5?

how long does the battery last to watch video? and how long does it last to play?
The battery is very small with 45wh. Battery life is terrible but depends on what software is running, which graphics you are using (internal or external) and which battery settings are activated. While gaming I wouldnt rely on more than an hour of battery life. Watching videos with standard settings, not more than 2 hours.

It didn't bother me so far, however I do use headphones... If you want I can make and send you a videoclip of the laptop noise while gaming?

Just got it yesterday. How long does your battery last? I’m not sure if I have to bring it back because of the fact that it drains easily by just doing simple task
There seems to be some bug going around with one drive draining a lot of the battery. Try again with one drive closed and switched off in the startup programs. (More tips online) Also make sure your battery settings are according to your activities. If you are not gaming you can turn it on battery saver type of settings. Lastly the laptop only charges until 60% to maintain battery quality. Turn of this setting if you want to go to 100 to unplug and have a longer battery life.

Update. The battery is really small so you have to use it while charging. Also make sure to use conservation mode

Everything alright, im very happy so far. Easily catches dust and fingerprints on the chassis, you'll want a microfiber cloth for that. Carefully and evenly remove the bottom cover for upgrades, its fragile.

I've had this one too, but then with Radeon 7 4000 series and 1650TI and 16gb ram with 500ssd and it works like a charm for few months now! I only wish it had a 120hz screen instead of 60hz

I wouldnt. I must say this graphics card got "old" pretty quick. Do yourself a favor and find a laptop with rtx3060 or better. The rtx 3060 laptops are great value. Keep an eye on retour deals etc.. And if you have the choice: the lenovo legion 5 has the best rtx 3060 card version of them all
Laptop prices vary greatly over the year and sometimes even within weeks. Find laptops of your liking and set up a price alert for when it drops in price.

I have this laptop and I want to upgrade this ram with my old 8gb dell 5570 model ram which has only 2200mhz but this one is 3200mhz wt can I do?
It can be a problem as sometimes the motherboard is not compatible with specific ram modules or speed. Even if it were compatible your laptop will slow everything down to the speed of the slowest ram (2200mhz), which I wouldn't recommend.

I loved Ideapad gaming 3 ..such a beast of laptop ..budget friendly as well as monster in terms of running and fast processor ...great display, faster processor, great specs like ryzen 7 5800 processor, 16 gb ram, 512 ssd, Nvidia Geforce RTX 3050 4 GB graphic card, 1080p IPS anti glare display,etc
I'll be getting the rtx 3050 version in 2 weeks I can't wait 😍

I wouldn't recommend buying this laptop with a gtx 1650 for VR. You will need a much better gpu for demanding games.

I have when I start it it's says boot missing help
Restart your PC. When the initial startup screen with the Lenovo logo appears, immediately press F2 to enter the BIOS setup. The actual key you need to press may vary from different models, but for most Lenovo laptops, it will be F2. In the BIOS setup menu, select the Boot tab and press Enter. Check the boot order and make sure your PC’s hard drive is in the first slot. If not, swap the order of boot devices so that your hard drive is first. Highlight Boot Mode, press Enter, and swap from UEFI to Legacy Support. Under that option, swap UEFI to Legacy First Go to the Exit tab, highlight Exit saving changes, and press Enter. Restart your laptop.

Had 15ihu6 with 11th gen i5 and rtx 3050.. disappointment was keyboard actions durring gamming session... problems with random key inputs, even with external keyboards... also there no type c displayport or charger in this laptop.. never ever again will purchase ideapad gaming laptop.
