    • so you've come to that conclusion now? just one example: Thriller sold 24 million copies in the u.s. and about 60 million worldwide (other claims are lies). it got 8 grammys. the best album of all time, Depeche Mode's Music For The Masses, sold 2 million in the states and about 5 million worldwide. not one single award.

Such as this song here, we feel the pain and can connect on such a deep level that it triggers memories that correlate to this song.   • We were literally born to die. We randomly appear on this strange earth, hang around for a bit then descend into an abysmal void of nothing. It depresses the fuck outta me, live while you can.

    • That's also true, its just difficult to look at it any other way. Well, at least for me. A close friend of mine was in a car crash a couple months back, his heart stopped 3 times, two times in the ambulance and one on the operating table. They got him back and was pronounced 'stable' but he wasn't conscious for over a week. When I finally got round to asking him what he experienced, he said nothing. He doesn't remember anything. He explained it as like being under anesthesia. One minute he was in a car, next hes in a hospital bed (a week later), remembers nothing in between. He was religious too before this happened, now he's not.

    • I dont believe in heaven or hell, but i dont believe that youd necessarily be able to remember an "afterlife" if you came back. Or maybe your brain simply couldnt contemplate it, it just doesnt compute. There are so many ways we could alternately BE, it doesnt have to involve time, and existence, and memory, if you know what i mean.

  • Последний раз я Лану слушала когда мне было 14 лет. У меня тогда была затяжная депрессия и именно эта песня стояла в моем ночном Плейлисте перед сном. До сих пор считаю что Лана достойна большего признания от людей. Вроде и грустная мелодия под которую можно и поплакать, а с другой стороны от неё веет вайб полного расслабления. Могу лишь сравнить с тем когда на улице приходит весна, дороги высохли, светит яркое солнце которое приятно греет твоё тело и голову и ты сидишь на лавочке с закрытыми глазами и просто наслаждаешься
