  • New to your channel and it is interesting. I'm from the Maine, USA. You guys need to do a series on the independent mobile mechanic & self built trucks. This is what I think the vendors need to see. We are the ones that make do, and getting it done. These trucks are show. If you love what you do you'll never work a day in your life.

  • They all have nice setups ,but , in my opinion the prices of these things are out of control. I don’t know how they expect us small independent guys to afford them!!!

  • Hey, Norwegian Forklift tech. Looking to moving over to bigger equipment, and I’m wondering does any of the trucks have any decent way of dealing with waste oil? Not the big “oil changer” trucks with the fancy air pumps and all that. But something for a smaller truck or van. I’m tired of pouring oil from pans into cans and buckets.

    @pantsonfire3932@pantsonfire393211 ай бұрын
    • You could rig up your own system. Put a 55 gallon barrel or what ever size is common in your area, somewhere on the truck or van. Run a hose to a custom fabricated box that’s somewhere easy to reach. If you need to run a pump of some sorts to get the oil in the barrel. Then you can either drain the barrel with gravity or have some one suck it out at your disposal site. Or just make a big ass funnel for the barrel and pull it off by hand.

    • My company plumbed up an air diaphragm pump with valves that controls inlet and outlet so you can pump into a 55 gal tank mounted on the top of the shelves. It’s ran off a standalone air compressor on the other side of the bed. Just hoses and valves. Nothing fancy but you get a sweet package.

  • I would like a service truck with sliding tool box, remove box and take with you; and easy open doors. I would probably get two of three.

  • I run a 550 with a full size Brutus , kinda disappointed they didn't even give you a tour like the other guys did . 1 year in and the aluminum is already corroded under the paint or wrap or whatever the hell they cover the body with .

    • The corporation is just a empty husk of what it used to be. Stripped down for every last dollar in profit. They don’t even care enough to make sure their product lasts. The bean counters have taken over.

  • Not a single truck like that in Australia. We all use Hiab style hydraulic cranes. Cheaper lighter and more versatile. Some nice fit outs there but unless it’s a mining company no one goes bigger than a 6 ton Japanese truck. If the parts are huge they can send them on a delivery truck & I didn’t see a single fridge. You won’t find one in Aus that doesn’t have a fridge for water & beer on the way home & the good ones have a little food computer area. & where were all the vices & wheel chock holders & freestanding awnings. Airpac welders are awesome but heaps more than one of each and your running both all the time to mostly use one, & if it goes down you’ve lost functionality. Interesting to see the different ideas though. I do like the pressurised cabinets, we don’t have that. Gull wing doors are good too for shelter instead of swingers. Your on site width is no problem, I get it if your doing road trucks. Cool thanks for putting in the effort to show us

    • Some people are lucky or skilled enough to get customers to pay ridiculous prices so they can buy all that crap. There some areas that I’ve seen if someone knew how to rebuild an engine as well as figure out all the electrical bull crap they use now on top of being able to pass welding certs they probably could do pretty well and have absolutely zero competition.
