  • 21 is the most under rated play in nba history. Wade actually split a double team and finished around 3 players. Only time I've ever seen someone single handedly go through an entire defensive unit.

    • I feel like some underrate him because he was so injury ridden and believe someone like AI should be above him in terms of top sgs of all time. Others also argue that AI carried a sixers team all by himself while Wade always had someone to win a championship albeit that 2006 finals was a top 3 finals performance of all time. Plus he never got an mvp to his resume even though it was stolen from him in his prime years. I think that is why for truly being a top 3 sg of all time some still underrate him.

  • Wade might be the goat of body control and lateral movement. He's so ridiculously explosive side-to-side and nobody can do what he does while he's in the air. He put Kevin Garnett of all people in the spin cycle on that euro-step, insane.

  • The most underappreciated player in NBA history , iam watching the nba for over 30 years and i will bet my money that there is not a single player in nba history at 6,4 who can block l 7 footers like that , make 90 feet alley oop passes , slice like a knife trough 5 defenders , block at the defensive end at the same time throw a 70 feet 3-pointer , this guy is the total package in his prime , career wise yes kobe is in front of him but peak and even prime i would pick Dwade over any guard in Nba history not named Magic oder Jordan .

    • Also, this is just my personal opinion. I would pick prime Wade over Kobe anyday. Kobe if we are looking at pure scoring alone obviously takes it. But, Dwyane had it all. Best defensive SG in history, incredible athleticism, in his prime he even had some range on his shot, great handles, clutch as anyone and this video proves that, and a basketball IQ that is off the charts and knew when to make the right play at the right time and could read the court like no other. Not to mention an EXTREMELY underrated passer. That is why i would take him over Kobe.

Klay is the perfect player-excellent defender and excellent scorer who doesn’t need the ball-which is what makes him great. Wade though is your nucleus and if you take away his injuries I’ve only seen 3 better players in my entire life-Lebron, KD, prime Shaq. Wade imo is a “first-time HOF”. • In the end people will kick themselves for how much they overlooked, knocked, pushed, underestimated, devalued this phenomnal player. His Overall leadership, skill and style has him on another planet to me. I watched jordan and Kobe play and honestly, Jordan and Wade were overall better than Kobe. Kobe just shot to much and didn't really have the patience that Wade possess. Iverson couldn't intimadate big men like Wade. Shaq and Lebron both felt playing with Wade would help them win a chip. Bosh left his only home to play with Wade. All these guards today studied Wades entire game, from harden to Westbrook. The fans of Kobe and Lebron and to some extent Jordan's did everything to diminish and bury this guys whole existence. Wade has the most legendary games and his highlights trump everyone's. People will appreciate him more in the end, wich is really too bad. I hope they rob him for the Allstar game so he gets ignited and shits on the whole league!

    • raza ahmed People been sleeping on D Wade ever since he got in the league. It's a basketball tragedy that'll he always be known as a sidekick to LeBron and Shaq, he's so much more than that. He's crafted his career from the ground up, and is one of the best finishers and playoff performers the league has ever seen. LeBron could say that he's Batman and he's Robin and the rest of the league wouldn't bat an eye. But all the players and LeBron know that they're equals: peanut butter and jelly. I'm not a Heat fan or even really a Dwayne Wade fan, but he might be one of the most underrated stars the NBA has ever seen.

      @RandomPerson-dm2cw@RandomPerson-dm2cw6 жыл бұрын
    • No doubt. Maybe at this point, and only at this point is LeBron better. Just for the past few years. But people don't acknowledge that LeBron needed Wade as bad as Wade need LeBron, if not more. LeBron could've been sitting ringless for a lot longer if he didn't join the likes of the one and only D Wade.

    • No disrespect to the mamba but he took to many bad shots for my liking. Great players didn’t really seem to like playing with him. I still love his game though. The guy was a. Killer on the court but his hero game was his downfall, he tried to be too much like Mike. He couldn’t succeed with patience so he forced it over and over. DWade is patience personified. It’s what makes him great. His takeover is like no other. It’s not just scoring when it comes to DWade, he’s everything for a team on both ends of the floor. Kobe’s numbers will always be higher but he’s also played much longer. If Wade was coached by Phil and played with prime Shaq, he would be the one being talked about like the way they talk about Kobe

This type of play was derided as "hero ball" but it was only so if you were inefficient at it. Yes, Lebron had to join Wade to win his first championships (someone whose killer instinct was ALMOST akin to MJ's).
