  • Parris Goebel lets her body interpret the music. That's why she is so successful at what she does. This is how you get maximum pleasure and creativity from this genre. She is naturally doing what I've never been able to articulate because while I have rhythm and can dance for my own enjoyment, she has the body intelligence to animate riffs, beats and fat bass. I feel the music the same way she does, but look very stupid when I try to let my limbs do what she does, lol. I feel her. She's ruined me for other choreographers.

    • its not that shes feeling it, shes just doing so cuz it can make the dance much much better by expression. I think she could do better. There are some dancer who master these facial expressions and make it seem so real that it syncs with the dance. Like Kae (red hair) for example.

  • I danced for years, I think I started around 5yrs old. I think I stopped dancing competitively when I was 17 (in my head, it was "lame"... I was bullied over it & let the bullies win) I say that to say that the amount of practice that goes into a routine like this, with this amount of ppl, is INSANE!!!! The Royal Family is THE best group out there!! The music choices, the moves, the enthusiasm, all perfect. And you can SEE how much each one LOVES dancing! I LITERALLY watch this group RELIGIOUSLY!! I'm too old now to go back to it, but I get to pretend while watching them! If you want to dance, do it! Don't be like me & let bullies tell you that it's lame. Quiting may be my biggest regret in 38yrs!! Then again, things have changed since the 90s. LoL

  • I love watching them so much more than other crews. yes other crews dancing is amazing too but I think its a combination of amazing dancing, awesome music, their attitudes, and their in sync-ness (not a word).They manage to make their entire routines so fun to watch, you dont want them to end. They put on such a good show, I think thats why they are so popular. To me thats so much more important than technique and difficulty of the dancing. Not that i know anything about dancing technique. I just love it!!
