Hey Tom, do you believe that there's a big compromise between 3PN and 10XD?
Do the cards slip out easily ?
Yes
Do they ship to the UK ?
Which one is better ? This wallet or Bellroy hide and seek ?
follow-up vid ? how is it going ?
Singapore Dollars! Do consider dropping by once the pandemic is over, i'll love to bring you around for some pack shopping! (and eating of course)
That'd be awesome Wei! - Tom
I have this wallet and it was a big disappointment. The material is nice, but the quality of the construction was terrible - the 2 main pockets are not square with the rest of the material, and the piece that forms the bill holder was not attached evenly, so the whole wallet is askew. When I contacted customer service they took more than a week to respond each time I wrote to them. When I exchanged the wallet for a different one, the new wallet they sent me was full of creases. Totally not worth the hefty prices they charge.
just bought today, very practical
Thanks for checking it out 😃 -Eric
Great walkthrough! Thanks for sharing, Tom.
your business model is garbage, so are your products and customer support. EVERYONE SHOULD BOYCOTT THIS BUSINESS.
Where are the pesos??
Can you guys review and suggest wallets that hold coins too and cash is easily taken out and in without have to fold yet it's not traditional wallet?
Hey! Here are a few options. The Bellroy Note Sleeve has a coin pouch and space for cash without needing to fold it, but it does have a traditional wallet style. Then there's also the Bellroy Coin Fold, which offers similar features to the Note Sleeve. If you're looking for something a little larger (and less traditional) there's also something like the Aer Travel Zip Wallet. @@PackHacker2 I see, thanks for the suggestion, do you think Open Sea Leather 50/50 model is practical in Asia and hurry situation that your cash won't all fall off?
Actually, the Onyx version is RFID blocking but the rest arent.
@HN just curious, why is it a scam?
@HN I never knew that, thanks for the information.
This is timely since ive been looking at their wallets. Honestly I want to move away from leather and I need a wallet that can hold card and bills well so probably bifold. I cant seem to find anything better than this which is a shame i cant seem to find a lot of good options out there. Do you have any more suggestions?
Hey Michael, you can find all of the wallets that we've had our hands on within the Organizers & Pouches section over on our site: packhacker.com/travel-gear/category/organizers-and-pouches/?order=rating Hope you find one that works for you soon, keep us updated! 😊 - Rebecca
Why do you like RFID-blocking wallets? I’ve found that they’re terrible for travel because I have to take my transit and hotel/hostel key cards out of my wallet in order to use them. With a normal wallet, I can leave the card in my wallet and just tap the wallet to the terminal.
Hey David - a lot of folks like RFID-blocking wallets for added protection & security on the go, but I agree that RFID isn't great if you're using the wallet like you described-tapping a wallet at the terminal or hotel room door without taking the card out. It's personal all preference - YMMV! - Tom
This is like asking why people wear a seatbelt.
