@@vintagescvrlet because that's all social media is nowadays. Constant activism and forcing other people into a box. The fact that anyone would try to tell someone else that they should show their mourning through social media is disgusting. When my grandpa died a few years back, I didn't post s single thing about it to social media..and to know there are people that would try to dictate that kind of thing for you is angering. There is definitely more narcissism among people in general.
While it would have been nice to hear what she had to say, I completely agree. I know they worked together, but some people don’t want to share their pain on the internet, it’s their choice as well. I wouldn’t put my pain on the internet at all. I feel so bad, nobody deserves death threats! I definitely feel how if you don’t post about something you have the scare of “will someone come @ me or be upset if I don’t post about it??”

She actually has a super point about what she said of social media that we are overlooking, she's just another human being that does not make her entitled to speak about everything and anything she does not feel comfortable talking about, everyone deals with everything in their own way
YES! I don't like the idea that because you are a celebrity you have to be an activist and speak on every single issue. Either it's performative if you truly are not passionate about those issues. I don't like Instagram either, it seems so self conscious, filled with people putting up a front, or trying to prove something to other people they barely know. I'm in my teens but I just never liked Instagram or Snapchat, but it feels like I'm the only person.

I love how more actors and actresses have been speaking up about not speaking up on all issues. Because Lizzie and Scarlett are both right, they signed up to act, not to be politicians. While some love to use their platform to speak up on human rights issues, that doesn’t mean that everyone needs to, but that doesn’t also make them a necessarily bad person for not wanting to use their platform. But I’d rather they speak up because they really want to, rather than being pressured to do so.

Still can't get over WandaVision, even if The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will have it's final episode this friday. " what is grief if not love persevering " " you are my sadness and my hope but most of all you are my love" Thank you Elizabeth, Paul and the rest of cast. Killed it. Losing someone was really tough and I could relate so much to the show, when the person you love just passes when you never had the chance to say goodbye or get some form of closure. Really brought back feelings I didn't I want to feel but after felt like I had to feel them on order for it to sink in, that the person close to you is really gone.

WandaVision was actually the first series that I was attached to and cared the most. Elizabeth was incredible and so were the rest of the crew. The delivery, the pacing, the narrative were amazing. With that said, she looks happier now knowing she deactivated her Instagram, abandoned her Facebook page and never created a Twitter account. Social media is not for everybody. But...can you imagine Lizzie on KZhead? Gardening videos, makeup tutorials and all of that would be great. Only a man can dream... 😞

The pressure of social media is off limits. Actors are just like the rest of us, normal people. They are not obligated to post this or that to support any kind of event or issue that is happening, as she said. People on Instagram or Twitter or whatever social media cross the line and don't realize the problems they are causing with their actions. Moreover, Lizzie has a good point about how we perceive a celebrity on social media. Like we think... Is this how really she is? Is that her personality? Too many questions come across our heads and their heads evenly. You need to step away from things you no longer care about and also if they are not of your liking and they make uncomfortable. I fully support her decision. ❤️
