There is a very big scam going on petsim 99 rn. Scammers first find a trading server with no people and put he/she's alt in that server. Next he/she finds a Titanic owner on pro trading plaza and tell the owner to follow him/her. They tell them to put a titanic for 10m or something for few seconds for youtube and he/she will give the owner a huge. Most people wouldnt do it if the scammer has more than 10m, but the thing is no one in the server has diamonds. When the titanic owner puts his/her pet for 10m the scammer gets gems in the mail box and buys the titanic.

The best part is that some scammers place another item for like 1 gem to trick players that both items are the same price so when i come across a scamer like this i buy the item but not the expensive one.This is what i like to call scamming a scammer
Personally, that 3 day ban is pretty fair. It was misleading having people think he was selling the egg for 1 gem. In my opinion, one way fix this is to make it to where it's no longer able to purchace strait from the booth without ENTERING the booth first. That way, even if the price shows on the booth the way it does now, we ALWAYS see the price because we ENTER the booth. (Yes, I know there was a recent update that made people invis near booths, but still a good idea, just in case.)

Players are now transparent when standing infront of the booth with a 3 sec timer just to buy it so i must say this scam is fixed

Many times you can endup in a pose like that if you run up to a booth and he was not even the owner of the booth. Felt just like a regular booth with a slight overprice only and if someone was climbing my booth I dont want a warning +3 day ban because of someone else climbing it.

If there is a way to see trading logs you should ban the scammers main account by seeing who they trade all the gems too. Because they usually trade the gems fast so they dont get banned
I'm verrrrryyy happy with the last ps99 update. They made people invisible next to booths + it takes a few seconds until you can purchase an item. Very proud of the team good job.
I think a way to prevent the shirt scams is by making the booth's hitbox bigger, so nobody can't climb the booths!

Idea to prevent other scams that don’t involve covering booths: If a pet or item someone is buying is way over rap value like 1m for an normal exclusive, an extra notification should pop up saying “ Are u REALLY sure I want to buy this? The price is 1m diamonds, but the pet is worth 144k!” That would make it so new players won’t get scammed as much if they don’t know values or rap

This is a terrible idea, if the seller is not scamming or hiding something, it’s the buyers fault to have bought it for that price
The coding would be really hard the coders would have to get every number up to 1 billion to fully make this work and program it into the pop up

The world doesnt work like you think, little child, scammers aren't DUMB. They use alts.. No matter how much you ban them, they can just create an alt. Hopefully you guys can look into who these accounts are trading all the gems to, banning them where it truly hurts.
Before banning the accounts. Not sure if the devs team can somehow check their trading or gift history. One way to track down the person who is behide it.

You need to make it so the body parts of a player such as arms have collision that would stop alot of these scammers, and for the chat message one just add a limit to how much you can chat at a time.

I caught some scammers too minding my own business in the trading plaza someone was listing something for for seem to be one gem but in reality it was 1 million. The same day I was in another trading plaza and someone was covering the 1000 and they were putting it for 530 something thousand and they were covering the thousand so it look like it was only 530

Something that might be useful against scammers would be like a scammer anti cheat where a bot could view chat logs and prices and could possibly detect scammers however I can definitely see how this could ban non scammers so probably not a perm ban

@@jonathan20053 a lot of scammers are using alts. They know the punishment for scamming by now. May as well just clean them all up. Getting their main account would be more beneficial though. I do agree with that.

Is there any rules to scamming in trades? I spoke with one of your staff members on Petsim99, they said if they scam via trades its allowed as you accepted the trade and everything is final? And they can do nothing about it, even if you have evidence, i think thats very messed up.
i remember i got scammed for my SELF-HATCHED huge, and this person said it was for a yt video, and said they'd freidn me and return it, so i gave it, and then they left. i tried to look at the username before they left but it was lots of randomized letters, hard to remember. and also they unfriended me
5:49 Honestly I feel that the three day ban was unfair because be honest, if pet sim 99 was your favorite game and you couldn’t play it for 3 DAYS it would kind of be sad. i’m saying this because I had it from experience because when I was playing pet sim 99, I got banned off Roblox for one day for spamming and pet sim 99 was the only game I played and I couldn’t play for one day. I felt very impatient so I do feel bad for the person too because he didn’t really mislead the price. It was only over 600,000 value because even in the future the egg would be worth around there and also what if it was by accident he went on the booth because sometimes I tend to walk straight on my booth and somehow I accidentally end up standing on the booth so that could also be a reason. idk if people are already doing this, but people are starting to go into trades and ask for our best pets to convert them into huge pets so other people don't see them in the chat
in the 2nd server those idle accounts a hackers and scammers alt accounts to bid on people auctions for really low and then freeze the server so no one else can bid and that person who auctioned will have been scammed

you should look up like the global thing in user names and look up preston to find any scammers saying they own pet sim 99 or signing pets
Bro, when the player invisibility update came out I said in the chat "THIS IS THE BEST THING PRESTON HAS EVER DONE", and I have no idea how that person's brain worked, but some random guy decided to say that I was a scammer just because I was being dramatic. THEN he tells me that I'm getting "defensive" when it was clear that he just accused me. The funny thing is, I wasn't even at my booth and 3 more people that I doubt have any braincells still AGREED with him and reported me without even considering who was right. Luckily I didn't get warned or banned from them. Like how do you expect an innocent to react when you're trying to get them in trouble for no reason?
