9 months=18 years
9 months in the movie, 18 years in the real story
"Inspired by." It's not the same story.
9 months, one couple started dating 3 months in and married a month later.....
Yeah such a moron
For those asking why 18 years and not 9 months. 9 months was the movie, 18 years was the real life case
Lol. 18 years. You commenting on the wrong film.
He.. he really love that goat.
18 years real life inspired and 9 months in film
0:26 The character is actually "Viktor Navorski"...😮
Is he from Croatia or the fictional country of Crocosia ? They got quite a bit wrong in this.. Edit: I found out the real man this was based on, was actually Iranian and lived in a Paris Airport, not JFK. His real name was Mehran Karimi Nasseri.
And then he’s immediately mugged and his collection of signatures is sold for meth while he bleeds out in a gutter
typical new yorker behavior
Jesus dude, happy endings sell more tickets lol
18 years...9 months ...not even close bud. :(

Watch this movie years ago, great movie, Great recap too!
This terminal has terrible customer service
Seriously. 18 years? 🤦♂️
Loved it.
Can't tell if this entire video is AI made. Either way, it's a lot better than most of the other AI recap channels popping up.
Please be joking, if people are this ignorant and incompetent then it means we are doomed 😢
@@RealEthanFarangI mean... you left a response that sounds like something a bot would leave. Just vague while being rude and dismissive. It's not like you're some intellectual yourself, my guy. The guy has a point, this is a pretty articulate synopsis of the film compared to other videos that are a similar format.
@@stephengrigg5988 what the hell are you talking about? How is saying “can’t tell if this entire video is AI made” a synopsis?🤣
@@RealEthanFarang the video is a synopsis of the film, and like the guy said, it's more cohesive than other videos like this. Jesus man, you're so busy being argumentative and liking your own comments that you can't even follow what is being said
@@stephengrigg5988 English must not be your first language, why the fuck are you randomly tagging me in that shit? What does it have to do with anything I said? What do you even think I said that’s getting you so idiotically triggered that you’re tagging me randomly in this shit instead of someone who insulted the video? 🤣
Dunb AI...
Pernah juga kisah ni.. negara asal takleh balik.. negara baru dop bui masuk..
Title???
The terminal
Whats the title
The Terminal
srry never heard "Dickson"" instead of Dixon
They should be a shame of their self
Who?
This was based on a true story
Eastern European Nation of Crocosia? CROCOSIA?! 😂 Did you mean CROATIA?
It's Crocosia in the movie (the AI voice isn't mispronouncing anything). They made it a fictional country for various reasons. Primarily as they were adapting it from the real story of an Iranian refugee that was stuck in Charles de Gaulle Airport for 18 years, starting in 1988 (the guy was still in that airport when this movie came out). Since Tom Hanks isn't Iranian nor Croatian, it was easier to make up a name that sounded like it could be Eastern European (former Soviet Block). At no point does he speak Croatian. In fact there's indications from maps in the movie that Crocosia is supposed to be a few countries over from Croatia. (Near North Macedonia or Bulgaria). Hanks' dialog is apparently in Bulgarian (though I can't speak to how good or bad it sounds).
9 months=18 years? Lame clickbait title
Not really, 18 years is referring to Merhan he doesn’t say in the movie that it was 18 years I don’t think
The terminal
Even though I am unhappy and in disgust thinking how Americans treat most, if not all foreign people unfairly and disrespectfully is disgraceful what they did. If he arrived in Canada in Toronto as an alternative, things are different how most Canadians treat foreign people respectfully, equally, kindly, gratefully, helpfully, and cooperative. Now how difficult is this? Unless someone made a movie based on Rahaf Mohammed escaping Saudi Arabia to Toronto Ontario Canada is something I want to watch.
I'm just here to Observe Because it's my name after all.....
In those 18 years he probably could have studied for citizenship?
He was offered citizenship by 3 different countries over the course of his time and he turned them all down
18 years
Hi I'm the first can I get a shout out next time plzz I'm your biggest fan ❤❤❤ keep up the good work 😊😊😊
This movie is too stupid to me lol I'm glad I didn't watch it and just watched this.
