  • A very dark thought just came to me as I saw how Greta reacted when Cole was near Brahms the doll. It wasn't just her fear of what would happen if the doll was damaged, but perhaps the residue of trauma sustained during her last relationship. We know Cole isn't the nicest person around- and he definitely raised a hand more than once during their time together, but I suspected that the miscarriage Greta had was due to one of his rages. The way she looks after Brahms over time reminded me of how some women who have suffered the loss of a child (or more than one) roleplay with dolls as a means of therapy, to cope with grief. So when Cole destroyed the doll in front of Greta, it was like a horrific repeat of what possibly made Greta finally leave the abusive relationship.

When he came out and you saw the long limbs instead of some small kid was scary. Brahms accept her help so all he do to scare cole with a scary writing “Get Out.” Then cole get psycho. Then brahms think cole was hurting her and cole wouldn’t listen to her i know cole likes her, don’t want her to run or let go from him. Then cole get mad and (example he just killed a kid. Yes a doll. But a alive doll yes.) Then probably brahms get revenge for cole to kill brahms. So brahms killed him then the girl and mah get freaked and tried to run away, but it doesn’t mean brahms is a killer because he killed cole. Then he said to greta “IF YOU LEAVE ILL KILL HIM” but then she ran away and wouldn’t listen but he didn’t killed him. AND FUCK YOU GRETA FOR KILLING HIM.

You can't blame him for the way he is, he never grew up with a lot of display of affection so the fact that he loved Greta is unsurprising but when she stabbed him I was like; "IT IS ON SIGHT"

    • @Lafamiliaespinoza Lasepinozas Okay. SPOILER ALERT (obviously) The abusive ex boyfriend somehow finds the babysitter's location and flies over there, bringing extra two plan tickets so him and the girl (the babysitter) can go back home. The girl refuses to be in a relationship with him again, essentially gets angry and BREAKS the doll which shatters it into pieces. Suddenly, a grown man with a mask breaks through one of the mirrors and is revealed to be Brahms who was never dead, but for some reason hid his true self and lived in the walls of the house, using the doll to pose his life. The ex boyfriend is left dead and at the very, very end the babysitter escapes with the plan ticket (and with the nice delivery man).

I mean, the sex doll with her dress on in his room, how he rejected other nannies cause they were too old looking and not pretty enough, plus the "kiss goodnight" which was a full on make out session that he seemed wayy too passionate about!.. But then again he was living in the walls for 20 years without physical contact..

Also, Brahms is like a fictional yet real life representation of all the disgusting, weird, loser f*ckbois that get no girls and obsess over pretty ones every day or some hot girl from class or work and even have a sex doll designed after her to fap to every night. Yikes. And might stalk her every now and then and relive those fantasies in his head about her, wet ones perhaps lol.

    • When you're a kid, naive, impressionable, and still a bit dumb. Ghosts are scary. When you're an adult, experienced, responsible, and has grown wiser. Humans are scary. It's just how things go. • Brahms is really hot, shit. I kind of wonder why the filmmakers went in this direction for his appearance? He's pretty fit for someone who spent 20 years in his parents' basement lol. Was there a personal gym back there? They could've easily made him a lot more repulsive looking but they chose not to. Not that I'm complaining

    • Yes his parents covered up the murders and started the fire to make it seem he died but he was hiding in the walls , that's why mom wanted Greta to save food for brahmas to sneak inside to get food , the mom also wanted her to set mouse traps so it wouldn't get inside the walls , and told her to read really loud and clear , so brahmas could hear through the walls

    • Duh_Tacos Of course there are other things that make people hot along with looks, but you can't actually deny that the looks are the first thing people find hot in a person. Looks are after all the first thing you see in a person and you can't tell by the first glance if the person you are looking at is also clever, funny, a good listener, has a sense of humor etc. To get back to Brahms, and if we ignore his looks for now, what really makes him hot for some people? He is downright scary, murderous, mentally disable SPOILER(S) AHEAD! (he's been living inside the walls for the most of his life for reasons none of us knows.), and he seems to be extremely possessive of Greta... to a scary degree to tell the truth. If those are traits people find "hot af" then sure, why not? I raise my hands up and sincerely hope for you to see the next morning with a person like that. :D

      @iRinnda@iRinnda7 жыл бұрын
    • +iRinnda Well it's not his fault he's like that. But anyways I just got attracted to him. Before I even knew who the actor that was playing as him I thought that he was hot. I mean I know why I am attracted to him but I can't explain it. I know he's all possessive and scary and etc but how do you expect to him act. His childhood was horrible and his parents hid him away. He was raised like that. Maybe he can possibly change if someone took the time out to do it. I mean if I was Greta, I would have wanted to run away and try to kill him too but he doesn't know right from wrong that's why he's acting like that. People can change their dirty and wicked ways ya know.

      @gnarlybastard3353@gnarlybastard33537 жыл бұрын
    • Duh_Tacos I can somewhat see what you mean there. If I was in Greta's situation, of course the first thing I would feel was being terrified and scared and just run as far away as possible. However, if he revealed himself in a different time, the situation might not have escalated as badly as it did in the movie. Of course he'd still be creepy af, but one might still be more successful to try to speak and connect with him. But then again, let's be realistic here: Life is not "Beauty and the Beast". Chances are high I would get myself killed by this person if I did one single wrong move at any time or situation given. :D You told that he had a terrible childhood and that he was raised in a certain way. I can only partly agree with that. If I remember correctly, he was born in a wealthy family and his parents loved him very much (so much that they even bought a life-size glass doll of him when the real Brahms went missing never to be found). There was something happening to him at some point in his childhood though... It was something about a young girl around his age in his childhood, but I really can't recall what it was. So I think he was raised ok, and his childhood was mostly good, but there was one thing that triggered him to change the way he eventually did. Maybe I should watch the movie again, for I seriously don't remember much of it. When I did watch it, I really tried to concentrate on the story, but I feel that the creators were more busy with the overall atmosphere and the creepy parts of the movie than actually inventing the plot to be coherent all the way through, which gave the movie quite "Da fuck did I just watch?" -feeling. :D
