The Duke of Hastings being jealous (and sad) over Miss Bridgerton being with other men.
The duke definitely fooled himself into thinking he would be “just friends” with Miss Bridgerton. You can’t play the game of love honey 🤣
Just a fun edit. With some words and emojis i think he was thinking during those scenes.

    • Honestly I’m at the middle of s1 where they got married and I think the same.Not just bc of that but also I think that what she has with Simon is very temporary.There’s passion,desire,excitement.But it all goes away by time. At one point he’s going to break her heart and since they can’t have children there won’t be any reason for Daphne to hold on.But with prince she sure would have more safe marriage.And the love,it always ends.

  • I appreciate that they made Prince Fredrick so nice. I feel like that makes Daphne’s love for Simon stronger and her choice more impactful. Daphne has another option, and on paper he’s the better choice. Wants kids, will be a good provider, kind and thoughtful, etc. but in the end, love is love.

    • I get it he seems way sweeter...but honestly I had a hard time seeing him have genuine feelings for Daphne given how he was pushed by the queen lmao. But also, we only know that side to the prince. We dont know the other facets to his personality. Yes yes I also know that lady danbury and violet were captains of the daphne simon ship but they were no where near as aggressive. I've also been in the situation where I was set up with someone like that but was always having dou ts about whether genuinely had feelings for me or no.

  • Well, the Prince was sweet. He was always friendly and good. However, the Duke was passionate and that kind of passion doesn't come easy. He was always fond of her, irrespective of the circumstances. Hence, in my opinion the Duke was the right choice. ;)
