A lot of youtube channels are testing towing range with pretty big loads an excess of 7,000lbs. I never tow anything that heavy and would prefer to see a towing range test around 3,000-4,000 lbs if possible.
95% of truck owners don't tow anything. Couldn't care less about towing.
How about like piles of wood and a small 15’ boat. .. right?
@@tnez2009 Wood can be delivered. If you got a boat, you need to tow. Most people don't have a boat.
@@billweberxmost people would be better off getting a Model 3/Y. Cybertruck isn’t designed for everybody.
@@yscol1313 yep. This is probably about as efficient as a Prius. Not as bad as a diesal truck but still lots of carbon used to create it.
Worked at a delorean dealership in the 80s. They told the body shop guys to use lemon oil for polish and fingerprints.
Had mine for two days. Everyone apologizes when they leave prints.
deloreans were not bare stainless they had a coating
@@Smart-Towel-RG-400 "Everybody needs a towel."
One word: "WD40" give it a try.
It should have been obvious from the start, but your video has made me realize: the Cybertruck is the ultimate EV advocacy machine!
On another channel called Hoovie's Garage, the owner and his mechanic removed the panels in the frunk to investigate his issue with his Cybertruck's windshield washer fluid providing very little spray and discovered that it was leaking into the mechanisms upfront. The leak that this portended could also lead to water intrusion, so it might be beneficial if you gave that area a quick inspection just to be on the safe side.
It only leaked inside the front area because they removed the front cowl and the tub. The tub has a rubber seal around it.
@@PM-wc1lp Watch it again if you did. The leaking was soaking into some insulation that went blue as if pouring syrup over pancakes due to the faulty installation or washer spacer that connects the wiper blade to the vehicle. Then we noticed the plastic clip snap off, the said mechanic said that it broke like it was made of thin glass. You'd think it would be bakelite plastic strong like in a dialphone from the 1970's, or its a delicate grocery getter for 100k.
@@truetech4158 Classic overreaction to tiny teething issues. Calm down.
@Wi2Low Not an overreaction, just a heads-up.
I've been watching these guys for years but I haven't in about a year and a half but I came back to see their cyber truck delivery which has been talking about for a long time. I have not seen Jesse lit up. So happy like this in a very long time. I may be coming back to this channel now
A CT owner who *READ THE MANUAL* !!! 😂
RTFM is life
Would like to see an episode where you drive around, meet people, and show us what they ask !
I love how the window makes a cybertruck symbol when you open the door with the windows fully down.
Ha Ha Ha , you fall in love easily. ??
There are 3 in my area and they look stunning! Now just waiting on mine! 😭😭
How are the headlights at night?
I love this truck I don't care what people say!! it's perfect billboard let's advertise!! now you know !! HAHA!!
Totally agree you need graphic art on your CT.!
@@alexpocs8649 otherwise they are going all look the same !! I was at cars and coffee in Lafayette Colorado last weekend one had special advertising on it !
I think the biggest thing people always want to know is how far it can travel real world.
That's the ice dumb question.... who cares how far it goes when there are superchargers on the way?
@@marcogptI mean, it’s a little bit relevant …. You want to know how often you have to stop and charge on a road trip. I think there are several YT vids illustrating the CT is similar to other EVs with respect to it’s rated range (weather sensitive, city vs freeway, etc). But yes the whole range anxiety thing gets really tired and it’s so obvious people are using it to justify their own phobia of change. The next argument is then “but how far can it tow?” And this comes from gas truck owners who have never towed anything in their lives.
Farther than my bladder.
FINALLY, a balanced review of the Cybertruck. Too many whiners out there.
Just because people think a hundred thousand dollar vehicle shouldn't fall apart as you're driving home from the dealer you're a whiner?
@@larky368 Someone drove theirs for under a 100 miles, went to charge it, and it dumped out a pile of coolant from the battery, and telsa told the customer that the coolant flawed factory 2nd wasnt covered by the otherwise warranty! Oh joy there, things like that..anyhow, let's turn a blind eye and smile as seems to be encouraged.
I can’t understand the sentence ( the coolant flawed factory 2nd wasn’t covered by the otherwise warranty?). But it sounds like you’re making an assertion that tesla wouldn’t cover a serious battery failure with less than 100 miles. The only way I would believe this is if there was clear evidence that there was a collision that caused this. Do you have a news source or link? If it’s from Reddit RealTesla don’t bother, that’s an anti tesla propaganda site where very little you read there is true.
How dare they criticize the build quality of our profit elon musks envisioned Jesus truck. So what if the accelerator pedal gets stuck at full send that's just Jesus and elon taking the pedal bros
@JarrettiliketopartG with the shit coming out of Detroit (Mexico if you know the truth), is this the best you can do? Shall we list the MAJOR recalls that comes with that new car smell? Profit or prophet?
Try truck pulling, deep-water driving, and applying ceramic coating to the stainless steel panels. I'm curious about dent formation compared to typical cars, how it compares in autopilot to other Teslas, and the overall cost of the truck. Is it feasible for a single-car household? Also, how well does it accommodate child seats? I'd love to see how the smart blinker works in roundabouts. Just some ideas for reviewing the truck! This is my first time commenting on your videos after watching for over 6 years. I haven't decided yet if I love or hate your show, but I keep watching and always want more 😂. Keep making these videos; they're super entertaining!I'm writing this comment while preparing to camp inside my Model Y, after building a smoke sauna from logs here on a remote cape in Finland. The water here is cleaner from the lake than from any bottle you could buy in a store.
I think the accelerator is going to cause issues being mounted on the floor, stuff is going to get stuck in the hinge and it will be stuck on, also floor mats could slip up on to it, also causing it to be stuck on
I love CT reaction videos. It amazes me how many people don't know what they are looking at. Please make a few rounds of those.
Glad you finally got yours too!
Until about 30 minutes ago, I didn't think my day could possibly be any better. I was wrong. I'm so stoked for you guys, and I'm so much more anxious to get mine. Still probably a year or more for me, but I'll gladly wait. Enjoy fellas!!
I love the look (saw one in person last month) but my wife hated it. I was shocked how substantial it felt in person.
It is slightly smaller than a F150
You guys are the best at reviewing 👏👏 You explain things in a simple way without the whining about nothing issues I hear on other channels.
So happy the best EV channel on the planet got their Truck!! Happy travels guys you deserve this and can’t wait to FSD more myself. 12.4 soon woooop!

Re: turn signals on the steering wheel … it looks like it’s a good feature on the cybertruck because the buttons are always on your left. That’s not the case for the New Model 3. I took it for a Demo, and the turn signal buttons on the steering wheel felt like an unsafe design because, when the wheel is already turned and you are changing lanes in low speed heavy traffic, you have take your eyes off the road and start looking for the buttons instead of keeping your eyes on the road. Unsafe and impractical.
Enjoyed this one, looking forward to the next one!
Merica, hell yea!
I think the Cybertruck will become the new law enforcement vehicle of choice
Looking forward to its first pit maneuver on code blue cam, haha.
I think are correct, tesla should have a division that handles only military and police vehicles orders.
Naah.. maybe in Dubai. Thing's too expensive to do pitmaneuvers

Old School here and its such a drastic change to what we are used to! Thanks, Jessie, for the "Ridealong" and explanations. I'm sure there will be someone out there who will develop a film or substance to fight off the fingerprints ;). I just don't understand how the Cybertruck knows wither to go in reverse or forward. can you explain how that works? Thanks Zac & Jessie!
Apparently the tire noise reduces as the tires wear in a bit.
Please talk about how the body and frame will hold up better or worse than legacy trucks with regards to rust.
I sumbit that ALL electric vehicles would benefit from smaller diameter wheels, 18" or 19". That would allow for more tire sidewall, smoother ride, and increased range. What do you think guys?
Same applies to "Vehicles"?
That would apply to every car and vehicle model irrespective of their propulsion type but morons drank the marketing koolaid and decided giant wheels looked good so now we are stuck with that and all the downsides that go with it (more money for tire/wheel sellers and dealerships when things break tho)
They just made a 20" wheel for the cybertruck
Metric sized wheels would roll better again 🤣
As close as 18 wheeler wheels. Truckers are not morons.
is 5th wheel possible?
Should point out, I've heard the CT tires are REALLY bad for snow. Which doesn't make a lot of sense given they're supposed to be AT tires. Regardless, be extra careful not to judge the truck's snow performance on the OEM tires. I've made the mistake of blaming a car before for it's tires and have since learned that tires can make a massive difference. I went with Cross climate 2 on my 2018 M3p, which was a big step up from the OEM Bridgestone. Note: Did lose some range went from lifetime 287wh/mi to 294wh/mi probably still a bit more to go, I would guess it'll stop around 295-298. Not a deal breaker since the cost of driving the M3p is pennies compared to gas.
Congrats, Zach & Jesse! 😊Have fun with it. Be safe. And thank you for continuing to educate us each and every week! 🔥
When my dad purchased his Edsel, everyone wanted to ask about the car and sit inside. Then reality took over. $80,000 to $100,000. In my location, no insurance carriers will insure it for collision - only liability! I will wait for the predictable Tesla price slash and to see if Tesla ever build out the needed charging stations (unlikely). Why are Tesla used car prices nose diving? Why are so many Tesla car owners dumping their cars? Anyplace with snow is going to laugh at a 7,000 pound truck with just rear wheel drive. You absolutely need the beast version. Yes - the Rivians have issues - many. The Ford lightning is a battery F-150……not $100,000 either. Plug in hybrid Trucks is the smart decision…..EV trucks are for the flamboyant trend setter segment who own a regular truck. In 5 years EV trucks could be ready for prime time….. not today. FYI: Musk just laid off his Tesla charging station division. So who’s going to build out the needed infrastructure?
Hell yeah, been waiting for this one
So happy for you guys!
Woo! So happy for you. I’ll be seeing my first Cybertruck in the metal next week, can’t wait! Enjoy your bad ass truck 💪
I just got my Cybertruck a few hours ago and like you said, 100% enthusiastic positive response! No haters
If I saw you in the truck, I would not respond with any hate comments as it is your decision to buy one. But I would be laughing inside that you thought it was a good idea.
Great video
I prefer digital rearview mirror always on and available, wish that was an option like it was on the prototype.
Brilliant!! Love you guys!! Keep up the great work
The most highly anticipated podcast of NOW YOU KNOW delivered! Oh man what a ride!
Way to Zach and Jesse!

Excellent presentation! The Cybertruck looks amazing. Can't wait to get one myself.
Well done!
Tesla states the Cybertruck is “corrosion-resistant.” Any idea what that really means? If I’m not mistaken, the special alloy on the panels allows metal to interact with oxygen in the air and prevent corrosion. But to what extent?
Congratulations!!
it seems perfect!!
I like the retro style of the Cybertruck. We need more cars to use this look.
Agreed. I'm also a fan of the Hyundai Ioniq 5, Honda e, and the rear of the Honda Prologue reminds me of a 90s gaming console. Lots of nostalgia. Loving it!
This is NOT retro...in the least. The reason it looks this way is because it supposed to be "futuristic"...not "retro"
“Retro” 😂

Having gone to the Ryzen chip, the screen response really improved. Most noticeable when the directional is activated. The blind spot screen immediately pops up. On the previous chip (2021 and earlier) there is about a .5 -1 second lag. Doesn't sound like much but is a lot in practice.
Congratulations!
Saw my first Unicorn 🦄 Cybertruck in Columbia, SC last night - nearly crashed the car with excitement - congrats on the new truck
The driving experience, the difference in power and acceleration between the dual and tri motor CTs is like the difference between night and day.
nice, I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for you guys while I drive to work
A budget option to get rid of fingerprints is to spray on Windex then wipe with a clean microfiber cloth and then apply car wax.
Wrapping it might end up cheaper in the long run.
thx team, u rock!
Funky truck. Love the space underneath the rear seats. Genius! Take it for a range test drive from Boston to Chicago and back. In the summer with air conditioning.
So want to see this thing camping (mattress in the back though, not the cyber tent)... I will call that the most expensive way to free camp..
I'm really happy that you finally got your Cybertruck. I can count on you guys to tell us what it is really like. And yes, check to see if your washer fluid is properly connected.
I hope your right and the truck does come down in price, but you said you paid a 20k premium, correction you've actually paid 50k more if you count the 30k price increase to the AWD.
Awesome that you two finally have your hands on this baby 🌞🐶
Can’t wait to see the in depth reviews. Though I guessing from initial 1st day comments the CyberTruck is going to clean up.
Can't wait to see more conetent from you guys with this truck! One note about the cyberbeast, it actually gets the same highway range as the dual because the extra motor on the rear is another induction motor which disables at highway speeds anyway. The reason the EPA range shows a difference is because that cycle includes some lower speed, not just highway cruising.
Congrats on your cyber truck Jesey looks really good
Very nice presentation. Thx. Suspension ride heights are: entry, low, medium, high, very high and extract
I’m Zac, I’m Jesse, and we’re recording on a potato 😂 now you know. But all serious it’s great to see the trifecta finally!

@@pierre.a.larsen Or caught rubbing your vehicle with a baby from a family with the last name Johnson to get the oil from the baby to coat the surface.
i seriously cannot understand how some people consider this to be ugly (haters = jealousy), but as far as i’m concerned and speaking on behalf of many, the cyber truck is absolutely drop dead gorgeous…!
I would like to know if in your profile for the truck, does it store you seat, air conditioning preferences etc... and with your profile can you store all you setting for getting in and out of the car and does it have a get in setting, so it moves the seat back, lowers the truck so you can get in easily and then adust to your personal setting?
I want to see you use the air suspension system to change the tires without a jack. Pump it up to high, stick blocks under it, go back to low, change the tire, then reverse the procedure. Would that actually work?
Only if you have a spare ...
Some Citroens had a sort of wheel change function with the pneumatic suspension and a stand - no jack needed. In principle Cybertruck could lift a single wheel with the appropriate software update.
How well Does it fit. In standard garage 10x20
That's the Tesla super charging station that I use. I go to that Dunkin donut across the street everyday. This is Nashua right?
Hope you get a Silverado too🙂
NYK wrap! Wrap it up! They will all know. It could be perfect for your channel. You already advertise your own channels during these shows. It could be for anyone.
What about snow plowing with the Cybertruck?? Will your custom made snow-plowing attachment fit on the Cybertruck?
I think taking the stalks off the other Tesla products was a mistake because they don't have fly by wire steering yet. If you have to turn the wheel several times lock to lock it makes it really difficult to use wheel-mounted controls properly. The cybertruck doesn't have that problem ofc.
Great review 🎉i subscribe 👍
So here is the question... Did you take delivery for the years old unveiling reservation or was the delivery satisfying the pre-order y'all made last November during the live stream of the delivery event? Inquiring minds want to know. thanks for all the content you guys provide, -Glenn
You should get a “now you know” wrap on your cyber truck for advertising. I’ve seen that on other cyber trucks here in LA and it works quite well.
Z & J, can you try the bidirectional charging (if available/activated). Is additional hardware needed besides the Tesla Powerwall and a Tesla wall charger? Nobody out there has done it.
Great video. Please continue to compare existing EVs that you own with the Cybertruck. Thanks for all of your hard work. :)

3:59 presumably if the tailgate is open, so is the tonneau 17:27 I’d really love an electric pickup with attachment points for a plow. Maybe an easily replaceable front bumper for a front tow hitch
No, they operate independently.
@@rmkepright, but usually if a person is carrying something with the tailgate down they are not going to close the tonneau and so the rear view mirror should work at the times when the camera does not
TFLEV showed that when you have a large load in the bed which covers the window and requires the tailgate to be open there is no rear visibility except from the side.
@@trumpetbiker7666 wouldn’t that be true in any truck? I think most pickups have the camera in the tailgate. What is unique about the cybertruck is that the tonneau blocks the rear view. All I was pointing out is that it seems unlikely that the tailgate would be open at a time when the tonneau is closed. If that’s the case you should always have one or the other
I would love comparisons across the 3 vehicles.
I know this is a step forward because its fully electric steering without a rack at all, but electric assisted racks with continuous variation ratio are a thing for a long time, my citroen C2 a sub 10k€ compact from 2005 had one. Obv a much shorter car than these american monstrosities but it could do a 180° direction change just with full wheel lock from your lane to the opposite lane. A dream to maneuver around and park.
The CT has a rack. What it lacks is a steering column.
I GET THE FEELING IT IS SUPER SAFE AND SOLID..........
