    • Yeah It's interesting the politics of the private game world, but I think high stakes pros need to be more accommodating and smart about it, robl has latched onto jrb and is able to play in the biggest games because of his relationships he's cultivated, poker is so toxic when predators want nothing but money poker I feel needs to be more social and lively and even if you are trying to win you gotta give a little to get what you want

Probably didn't want to tell them because others might not have played. Andy no doubt wouldn't have. Besides that, the game has had multiple scandals with more than 1 player being exposed as a cheat or scam artist as of today with Mars and Ryusuke revelations. The fact G-man has boycott it says a LOT about the games integrity now. In general I feel like the game has evolved into a much more toxic environment for the players, and it’s gone from being entertaining to being a shit show.

  • For this type of broadcast games, the rules should be clear to start with. Players should be informed that they have to play a certain number of hours before leaving if they are to be invited at the table. Pass that time limit, they could leave regardless of their chip situation. The broadcaster should provide replacement players if they plan on keeping the game going pass the minimum time limit to protect themselves from this type of debacle.

  • We all know that cash poker games in a casino a player is allowed to leave whenever they want. That said, Live Stream being a whole new world, it is on HCL to protect their games and implement LiveStream Rules. Players must commit to a minimum of play time (unless they are down 2 min buys or more) and have a reliable backup bench waiting. If a player tells HCL ahead of time "I have to leave at 5pm it is on HCL to decide if their action is still worth it, announce it to the table at the start, and have backup players to step in. Even new blood on the outside dying to play on stream. I used to play in a home game where nobody was allowed to leave in the first 4 hours unless 2 min buys or more down. It was something agreed by all before the game even started and it was kinda nice that a guy couldn't run over the game for an hour then pack up and leave.

You can’t keep taking away their money and don’t entertain them and ask them to stay. You wanna play poker for living? Fine. Just know how to entertain the fish, and let them keep playing.

  • Rampage should have done tournament style heads up I think. 15 minutes for 15k and then start again maybe if no one else joins. Whoever wins more chips in the time wins the money could be fun. Maybe 20 minutes instead since you at least get 3-5 hands

  • People that say you can leave anytime are just making excuses for being scumbags and hit and running. If i'm winning I always give a good heads up and try to keep the game going, especially in a home game setting. Casino is different but it's still bad etitiquite to hit and run and you should treat others the way you want to be treated. If I lose a buy in or two I want a chance to get it back so If I win it off others I"m not just gonna take off and let the game suffer. I've been at casinos where a person hit and running has ruined the game even at a casino. If everyone did it then cash game poker would simply not exist. The same thing that happened last night would happen every single time if people made a habit of this without replacement players
