Gathered my thoughts about why this game means a lot to me. Sorry about the terrible audio quality. My mic is bad; make me famous and I'll buy a better one.

  • i started my journey with dark souls 3 in 2016 when i was 10 I didnt know anything about dark souls, about their difficulty etc before playthrough. When i finished my first run (with a brother's little help on abyss watchers) i started playing ds3 more and more. Some day i bought both dlc and i fell in love with fromsoftware Then i bought sekiro, ds1, ds2, bb and elden ring on launch but nothing kept me playing like ds3 Nowdays im 18 and im still enjoying with this game while trying to do hitless any%. My pb is 3 and im still trying

    • Amazing! Sounds a lot like my journey as well :) Good luck with your hitless run man! I've been doing one and posting the vids to my channel. It's a major challenge, but it definitely improves your skill as a player.

  • Your thumbnail does a poor job of representing the amazing content in the video. The thumbnail makes it feel more like a collage than an actual lure for why I should click on this video. The title is solid and works. The actual descriptions and the way you talk and write is FUCKING MAGNIFICENT. Amazing, concise and a very well articulated vocabulary compels me to keep watching the video. The descriptions made by you are damn near perfect when it comes to describing your experience and relating that experience to someone who has or hasn't played these games. The sections of the video are well structured and put in a coherent way that allows transition from one section to another smooth and attentive all the way through. I don't think I've ever seen anybody else in this community that can speak like this so I'll keep up with the content. Improve on your thumbnails and subject matters and you might strike something great here. Oh yeah AND GET A BETTER MIC + AUDIO. NOW!

    • Thank you for the incredibly kind words. This made my night! Your critiques are 100% spot on, and I was aware of the deficiencies when I made the video. Unfortunately, being so new at this means I'm still growing my skills and equipment. I've gotten a new/better mic and editing software, so hopefully I will be slowly but surely improving :)

  • I'm glad you hit on the music & language first, it's precisely why I prefer Souls to Elden Ring. Good video.

  • Great video man, it really made me understand why i love this game and why it's probably one of the best games I've ever played, also I'm really happy to finally see someone else appreciate the mechanical beauty of DS3's bosses.

  • I love this game. The only complaint I have is the softcaps since enemies are too overpowered in NG+7.

  • So how is it great? The early levels and bosses are garbage, and the game only has a few good bosses, and every good boss is guarded by a garbage one ,example Wolnir guarding pontiff, ancient dragon guarding NK, yhorm guarding dancer, and half light guarding geal. The bosses in this game(main game only)are either mediocre and boring, garbage gimmicks, or genuinely good fights NK, dancer, champ are all S tier fights with everything else being kinda mediocre in terms of mechanical depth. All the dlc bosses are great A-S (expect the human fights are F tier) tier fights, but the levels are pretty bad especially the dreg heap, and the start of the ringed city is horrible, these levels make me not want to fight geal or Midir because of how long and boring they are. It’s an ok game I’d give it a 7/10 mostly because, of some of the fights just being that good, that it makes up for the garbage that covers this game.

    • And how is it bad? Wolnir and yhorm were great fights, idk what didn't sit right with your experience but if you complain you have to back up your claims. Either way, no game can be perfect: Breath of the wild, the best nintendo game of all time had some lacking points, bosses were similar to one another and so were shrines. The highs are what will stick with you regardless of the lows. If you were to give an example of a game you would give a 10, what would it be for you, because dark souls 3 would be one for me

    • @@Draconic404 I’d give Sekiro a 10, and I’d also give DMC5 a 10, ER would be a 10/10 if only the game wasn’t open world (which is just personal preference)but everything else in that game is a 10/10 to me. Yhorm isn’t a “great fight” all you do is run away and charge storm ruler not very satisfying gameplay to say the least, Rykard is just better in every single way. Wolnir is also a mediocre fight, 0 mechanical depth just hit his wrist and he’ll die in 20 seconds again not a very satisfying reward for completing a boring level. The levels in DS3 don’t compare to BB, ER, LoP, or Sekiro in how fun they were to play. The enemies in ds3 are so boring to fight that everyone runs past them, whilst in Sekiro the enemies have fun and interesting move-sets that I want to learn similar to the bosses. I’ve played this game on NG+7 which is basically the equivalent of playing it at SL1 I’ve done my research, the game is a 7/10 to me. I’ve played Sekiro NG+7 demon bell + charmless that game is a definitive 10/10. And how did I not “back up my points”?

    • Everyone's entitled to their opinion, But do you understand you are in the vast minority on the status of this game? Myself included, the vast majority of the opinions about this game is that it is indeed great. The art style and direction is S-tier, The awesomeness of the best boss battles drastically outshines the mediocrity of some of the lesser ones. The level design is also S tier, It's straightforward yet riddled with unexpected divergent paths that could lead you to new areas or new interesting things to discover whether it be a nice piece of loot or an optional boss battle. I've spent over 500 hours on this game and it was my second from software game after rge demon's souls remake, So like I said everyone is entitled to their opinion, But you are on the vast minority of the haters, and I, like the majority of the fans of DS3 are of the more correct opinion that it is indeed great, I would even call it a masterpiece. 🥶✌️

    • @@jesserenobato7613 I’m not hating on the game this is just my opinion from playing the game for 100 hrs it’s a solid 7/10 game for me. It’s crazy how 7/10 = hating on the game I just think it’s massively overrated. And on a personal level the art style is garbage all you need to do is look at a colour palette comparison of all the dark souls games and DS3 imo has the least appealing palette that amounts to a lot of people calling it grey souls 3.
