      @jwelch5742@jwelch57426 жыл бұрын
    • True. Fortunately, he's been surrounded by awards for much of his life; I think Merchant-Ivory Productions and Ruth Prawer Jhabvala garnered more than 30 Academy Award nominations. More importantly, they've been surrounded by greatness - consider, for instance, their work with Kazuo Ishiguro long before he won the Nobel. Their films offer a beautiful but sincere counterpoise to (and escape from) the decadence surrounding us today, conceived as it has been by Jacques Barzun and others. Well-deserved indeed.

The oldest ever nominee is Agnes Varda (Best Documentary nominee for FACES PLACES), followed by James Ivory (who's 8 days YOUNGER than Varda), and then Christopher Plummer (Supporting Actor nominee for ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD and thus the oldest ever acting nominee). And I'm really sorry, just information that Only Muslim Who Died ( Who don't do Shirk In Entire life or Don't do Shirk anymore before Died ) that In syaa Allah, can Go to Heaven Someday. But Non Muslim Who died Will go to Hell Forever ( Except Child who died as Non Muslim, I don't know They will go to Heaven or hell ) My Next Suggest is Please don't Watch All of LGBT Movie Ever again, because LGBT movie against Allah Subhanaahu Wa Ta'Aalaa Rules. I'm worry it will impact for your life in Duniya and Akhirah. I'm Very Believe that Allah Subhanaahu Wa Ta'Aalaa Knows The Very Truth. • James Ivory stared his career by making a number of wonderful movies set in India with his professional and later domestic partner Ismail Merchant, they later transitioned to Academy award winning Classics under Merchant and Ivory Productions. This movie is special to him... Because in his life he was never open about being homosexual and by writing this screenplay he remembered how deeply he loved Ismail Merchant and saw this as an opportunity to break free from the restrictions to pure love. All the people he once loved are gone now... Yet this triumph is more important than ever.

Morricone is in fact 5 months younger than Ivory. Also, before Ivory, the oldest winner record in the Adapted Screenplay category was previously held by George Bernard Shaw, who won that category for PYGMALION (1938) at age 82.
