It’s an interesting evolutionary update. I’m fine with Kia maintaining the amber DRL’s, but I’m torn regarding the new tail light design. With lighter colors, the outline around the updated tail lights are odd and a bit heavy. At one point in the video, the passenger side tail light flashed/illuminated, almost as if it were the turning indicator. The Korea spec K5 features rear amber turning indicators so not sure if they will be red in the US. I still feel that the updated Hyundai Sonata looks better in comparison but need to see the K5 in person! Hopefully it will be at the 2024 Chicago Auto Show next year.
Maybe it will be on LA Autoshow this month?
I have no idea why they couldn't just stick with the amber rear turn signals of the global model. It's like they made it look worse and less functional on purpose

Absolutely NOT! Wtf do u think catches the eye. This was very smart marketing idea. Did you know yellow and shades of yellow are what catches our eyes the most. U can literally spot this car for Miles. Outstanding

@@wizels1403I love the ambers lol, I can spot a k5 and telluride, a ways away by just their amber lights alone lol.
Looks sooo much better than the pre facelift. But my god I just HATE that ugly chrome strip that wraps around the back of rear window!

Same lol, I got the 2024 a few months ago. I'm thinking about waiting to upgrade because they may not include all the refresh features until like years later like 2027 which sucks.

Not a fan of the restyle , the back taillights and how they protrude downwards gives an Older Prius vibe . The front DRL heartbeat design is eye catching , and the DRL being above the headlight makes it look less aggressive than previous years .

headlights might look even more aggressive here but I agree with u on taillights should of kept them like they were just made them fully led
