It is amazing, because before Gfriend and Seventeen were in bighit, I already stanned them (they were my bias groups other than BTS) So,,, could you imagine how excited i felt when i found out BOTH groups are working with/in bighit? WOWOWOWOW they are SO talented, with so many charms, and one thing i really look for in artists is participation in their music and concepts, and Seventeen are known for being a self-producing group, and Gfriend really have a distinct style and try to experiment with different concepts along with writing/composing songs (especially their recent cb) so WOW... even before they were under bighit labels, I knew there was some spark about these groups, bighit made such a good decision. I can’t wait for them to interact, maybe they would be organized to sit next to eachother at year-end shows (if we get any etc), we all know BTS has friendships with Seventeen, Seventeen has friendships with Gfriend, and Gfriend has friendships (it has worked with) BTS.. so, i don’t want to be delulu, but i am simply excited.

What I like about BigHit acquiring Source Music and Pledis is that they saw the potential that the groups under the label had but also saw that they weren't being pushed toward that enough and so they took advantage of that to progress them further than either the company was able to or that the company wouldn't be bothered to.

WTF I was introduced to kpop with nu’est face and then I started following the group at around 2013 and then got into seventeen since they were in the same label and then I started becoming an army 💜 around end 2014. + the first girl group MV I saw was from Gfriend rough (I thought they were Japanese at first idk why...) Gfriend apple is popular internationally the only problem is their digital it seems that Koreans don't like GFRIEND to change their concept a little bit.

Gfriends digital sales are low now because they arent a streaming group anymore, now they are well stablished as fandom group for that reason theirs physical sales increased... Song of Sirens is their best sold album... and i don't need remember you that the most sales for Gfriend are in korea... SOUMU´S CEO confirmed this on January, that after the Go Go Tour Gfriend are well stablished in the korea market and a few weeks later analystics from Hanteo released a study about Gfriend, after analysing all their data (digital sales, physical sales, streaming, downloads, views etc) since their debut... Hanteo confirm that Gfriend now is a fandom group with better physical sales than before even if they continue with the tendency.... they will sell more...but their digital sales will go down... and the next step being under Big Hit is the jump from fandom group to internacional group...
