How did it go
Finally I found the easiest way of making a diy curtain...thanks for this tutorial😃
The first really good tutorial. Thanks!
Brilliant! Thank you!
All I can say is thank you.🙏🏾🙏🏾
Very clear instructions. Thank you! ❤🙏
Glad it was helpful!
Been there done that 😊🤞. Very realistic and practical tutorial. Thanks for your effort. Will try with a walking foot in next time although it worked without the walking foot even with thick velours fabric.
What is the advantage of stitching the header tape onto double thickness fabric? Hope that makes sense. I’ve only ever turned over 4 centimetres at the top and and then stitched on the header tape.
Which sewing machine is used?
Plz share link for hooks you used
I used to make custom curtains and really enjoyed the work.
Good day, if i may ask. What do you call that thing you used to alignthe sides?
Seam gauge :)
@@HelloSewing thank you 😊😊
I'm still learning 😃 and really enjoy the journey,. So nice that i can learn from your vlogs 😊
What is the tape called? Can please provide the Amazon link for the same?
Hello mam can you give me the materials? I dont know the parts to need. Thanks and God bless
Hello, I also make curtains in Cambodia. Good Good
I also have a video showing how to sew curtains and installers like my brother 💕 Please help (subscribe) 💜
Which type of tape is this
This is such an excellent video! Thank you so much for making it! I have one question, what kind of fabric did you use for this video? It looks so nice.
Hi, thank you so much. It's blackout polyester fabric
what pressor foot do you use?
I think it’s walking foot.
❤❤
Hello, at 7 minutes in, when you're beginnning to sew the tape (pleating / heading, I forget what you call it) - what was the little tool you used to slide underneath the foot of the machine? Can you tell us why you used it etc? I did click the link, but couldn't find it. As a beginner - in terms of making curtains anyway - I have high hopes for this one, because the instructions are so detailed yet so clear - which is unusual for a KZhead 'craft' tutorial. Thank you in advance.
It looks like a case of extra sewing needles, and I think she is using it to prop up the back of the presser foot.
May I ask what do you mean by fulness ??
It is the extra fabric used across the width of the track pole or curtain rod. It affects how your curtains will look as it creates the waves in the drapes. You have more waves when you increase the fullness
@@HelloSewing I'm so excited (kinda 😂) to give this a go! Lol. What fullness are your curtains in this video? Thanks!
@@flyashleyfly 1.5 for the thick curtains and 2x for the white underneath
How about if you've got a bay window?
Same idea. Just make separate curtains for each window
how long would curtains like these take to be made? from start to finish
It really depends. I haven't timed myself, but I guess it would take between couple of hours to an afternoon. Of course you don't have to finish everything in one go
Hi how i will hang it anyway. I hope there is a toturial..
Hey, you need tracks for this type of curtains OR you can use another type of hooks+rings and hang them on a rod. I have a separate tutorial specifically for rod pocket curtains
@@HelloSewing do you have link so i can watch it? Thanks.
Sure hellosewing.com/how-to-make-rod-pocket-curtains/
@@HelloSewing where are these curtain tracks from for these? I have seen some at ikea but iffy if they are good quality.
@@HelloSewing thanks for the tutorial And i think i will need more of this❤
The first step might be washing and drying the fabric at least twice to account for shrinkage. Some fabric may shrink after a second wash and dry.
