Blue River Campground - Silverthorne Colorado
Blue River Campground lies between the Ptarmigan Peak Wilderness & Eagles Nest Wilderness. Situated on the Blue River between Silverthorne and Green Mountain Reservoir, this campground is easily accessible from I-70.

* Elevation: 8440 ft
* Fee per Night: $20
* Total Campsites: 25 including camp host
* First Come - First Served. No Reservations
* Blue River access is available in sites 10, 12, 13, 14, 16, & 18, 19
* Water is available in the campground
* 25 ft Max RV Length
* Cell Service: AT&T - 1 bar of 4G in the upper loop. Verizon had no signal
* 14 Day Stay Limit
* Open May to September.

Directions: From the Silverthorne exit off I-70, take Hwy 9 north for about 6 miles. The campground is on the right.

This campground is pretty humble - see site #9 for standing water that probably attracts them.. Avoid all but those sites near the river where there are no mosquitos :)

@@CampgroundRecon Did you guys stay here? If so, How was highway noise?
We were camping about a half hour away and didn't stay here. I don't think highway noise would be too bad after 10 pm. A river site would definitely help block some of the noise.
