Find out if one trace mineral can help end your arthritis pain for good.
0:00 Introduction: The number 1 missing trace mineral in arthritis
0:24 What is boron?
0:57 Boron benefits
3:26 How much boron do you need for arthritis?
Today, we’re going to talk about the number 1 missing trace mineral involved in arthritis. Vitamin D and magnesium are often used for arthritis, but they won’t work without enough boron.
There aren't many studies on boron, but there is some promising data involving boron and arthritis. Boron seems to be the key trace mineral that allows calcium and magnesium to work.
If you’re deficient in boron, you’ll have excess calcium and magnesium in the urine and tend to get more calcification in the soft tissues. You might also have weaker bones.
Here are some of the health benefits of boron:
• Helps keep minerals inside the bone
• Allows vitamin D to be activated
• Helps prevent tooth decay
Boron helps prevent joint inflammation by reducing C-reactive protein. A boron deficiency can also cause receding gums, kidney stones, calcium in the arteries, and calcium in the joints.
The parathyroid gland stores the most boron in the body and produces a hormone that helps control calcium. If you don’t have enough calcium, the parathyroid hormone will increase to extract the calcium from your bones. You need boron to allow this process to work.
If you’re low in boron, you might also be low in testosterone or estrogen. Research suggests that boron can even potentially help reduce the risk of prostate cancer.
To use boron to help relieve arthritis symptoms, try starting with 3 mg of boron three times per day and see if the problem resolves within 1 to 3 months.

    • Excel calculated my daily expense of supplements to be around 8 dollars. I console myself by justifying that an average person spends a lot more at a cafe or bar everyday. Anyways, here are my tips for shopping supplements on a tight budget: 1. Look into Half-Life of nutrients. For instance, fat soluble vitamins like A, D, E, K don't need to be taken daily. 2. Some supplements can be taken on/off weekly or monthly and have the same effect or even better effects than taking regularly, trace minerals being a good example. 3. Make a Priority List of the ones that you absolutely NEED to take daily (digestive enzymes for me), once a week, and situational ones. Space out the ones that you can. 3. Subscription discounts, and Keepa price tracker for a certain online shop. 4. Powder > Capsules. Not everything can be but if you can tolerate taking something in a powdered form, it's often more affordable than equivalent capsules. 5. Picking brands. You don't need to buy Pure Encapsulations, Nature's Bounty or Thorne. Nutricost, Naturebell, and Double Wood are just fine. 6. Only splurge on things where brands DO make a substantial difference. For example: many mushroom extracts like Cordycepts, singular patented or proprietary remedies such as Standard Process, and other products where quality sellers are limitd due to supply chain monopoly or geographical reasons, such as Nordic Cod Liver Oil.

¡Gracias doctor Berg! 🐱👍

  • I grew up in Poland and around my city we had spas with boron mad baths. I was too young to use them, but for older people this was the thing to do. Now and then I will fill up my bath with water and add few table spoons of borax and let the skin absorb for a while. I use ordinary store bought laundry borax and it works fine because it's pure borax without additives. Also, I am elderly, way past established retirement date and everything works great. There is another way to prepare borax, old recepie tells to add 1/4 top of borax to 1 L of water and take 1 to 3 table spoons daily at the beginning and then after a while only 1table spoon. Sometimes the pain relief comes within few days. It's a mineral and like everything else is good to keep moderation and test what works. Wish everyone happy joints ad the rest of the body.

    • @@melaniejennings8945 Not exactly. Borax is produced by combining boron with sodium, hydrogen and oxygen. It's a caustic chemical compound that, if ingested, may cause nausea, vomiting, stomach aches and bowel problems, and applied topically (to the skin) it may cause irritation, peeling and redness (i.e., "boiled lobster" rash). Ingesting 10 grams of borax (5 grams of borax for children) can be fatal. A small amount of borax in a large tub of water may not cause any excessive skin issues, but it can be akin to handling lye water bare handed and thus not normally recommended. If you wish to supplement your boron intake, the safest action would be to take boron in capsules. Stay safe.

But I don't dare say how. The many people I tell, think I'm a quack and don't go near it unfortunately. So get it any way you want. Just get it along with the Magnesium Citrate. @dguy-xk4fc@dguy-xk4fc26 күн бұрын
    • The amount of boron in foods isn’t always the same, since soils are depleted and animals are water with fluoridated water. You’re better off supplementing boron at this time, because there’s no guarantee that there’s any boron in what you’re eating and if it’s even bioavailable especially in the case of broccoli and peanuts. They both contain high amounts of antinutrients that block mineral absorption in the gut.

He already takes NAG, vitamin K, and Type II Collagen, uses the Sperti Fiji sun several times weekly to maintain vitamin D levels. Many practitioners say that Boron is toxic but I don't exactly know why. People say all kinds of things. I do know that Boron is very high in the Middle East (Lebanon, Israel) and the incidence of osteoarthritis is very very low even though many have low vitamin D due to cultural covering-up with modest clothing.

  • Thank you for the info Doc. Have been trying to get fit and active after a year of recovery of broken ankle, torn shoulder and a gallbladder removal within 4 months. Frustration is putting it mildly. Today, after listening to this video, i ordered a woman's Algae Cal Plus. It has 13 trace minerals, including Boron. I live on a small farm, away from temptation of fast foods, trying to live healthy. We eat local beef, moose , venison, wild salmon, of course, veggies. Was diagnosed with hashimotos years ago, and realize gluten is my enemy. Unfortunately, this past year has tested me , and am really enjoying sourdough bread from our local bakery. Forgive my spelling mistakes, having a silent migraine and can't see properly at present. Don't know what triggers them, but at least they aren't painful anymore. Used to suffer until i vomitted, then the pain would pass. Really hope the introduction of Boron helps. This past while, arthritis is sneaking into my fingers and toes, lots of leg pain( too many months sitting healing.) Actually feel damn fine when outside gardening, moving, not sedentary. Have great faith in your words of wisdom and common sense, but exchange rate and imprtingkeeps me from buying your products. Really hope to find relief in this next try. Am turning 69 next month, but feel 40 inside. Wish me luck! Thanks for all you do for us that don't want to go the pharmaceutical route. Worked in health care for 25 years. Witnessed organ damage, death , due to use of prolonged prescripts. Have a fine day Sir !💗👍

A gentleman in Australia discovered how it basically cured him of arthritis pain in a period of a few months. There is a fairly long story, but basically big pharma had the government shut down the information and sources of borax. Do the research, basic 20 mule team borax can be found in nearly every grocery store in the US..

My husband was a soil scientist and when i hit menopause and became crippled with arthritis we researched this. Most of the bodily damage has now been reversed and i am pain free except for small issues in finger joints. Probably need to take a little bit more borax than i am. Don't use the Chinese borax as contamination is a problem with that. Turkish or American borax is best.

  • I was hoping for a list of foods high in boron. I know I can research that but these videos are usually an all in one. Thanks for the info tho. My research says coffee, milk, prunes, raisins, dried beans, and potatoes. Most not keto so this would most likely be the reason for no list of natural foods to eat to get boron.

    • Sounds like you already did the research..... thats exactly what I pulled in a 1 minute search while reading the comments. Borax also has boron- main ingredient in fact, but people freak out. Wait, what? Take a natural thing I use for washing and ingest it??? People have been taking borax for decades for their health.

  • Recommend a look at the work of Dr Rex Newnham. No longer with us, he was a soil scientist from Australia who demonstrated a geographical correlation between boron depleted soils and incidence of arthritis.Big pharma came for him over his suggestion of using borax, so he developed a range of boron supplements, but said there was essentially no difference.
