Netflix has a track record of making less than ideal content, and their subscriber growth is beginning to slip for the first time ever. In this video we discuss just how I believe they got to this point, and what I'm hoping to see moving forward.

  • I hate that some of netflix shows shoving their awards instead of the actual summary in description of their shows. Like really I’m not interesting of what the actors, directors or the other staffs achieved, I just want to know if the show’s story is interesting or not, but in this case it is automatically the latter.

  • Great vid! You deserve way more subs, thought this channel would have at least 100k

  • Netflix's biggest problem is ciffhangers. Cliffhangers are the reason why I don't start watching their shows. 90% of their content ends in cliffhangers. Even if they'll do another season one or two years in the future, I will have lost interest by then or forgotten what the show was about. Eventually, every show is going to end in a cliffhanger anyway, because procucers will make use of this means just to have something to bargain with when they want another season, no matter how bad the odds.

  • Good video. I wasn't even aware there was a live action Death Note. God help us.

  • At this point, if T-Mobile wasn't paying for my Netflix, I think we'd drop it. Close to a 15 year relationship. It's rapid fire approach just hides anything worth watching and forces you to binge down a whole season overnight so you can keep up with your favorite KZheadrs taking about it the next day. Oh, you only watched 12 of needlessly long 14 episode season? Sucks to be you, because everyone will have forgotten this exists in a couple of weeks.

  • Pretty solid overview of the situation, though the graph used at 7:01 is a bit misleading. Made me chuckle 😄

    • Btw, would be cool if you compiled your sources (especially for music) in the description!

  • It also seems like all netflix content is made from 20 somethings cuddle blankets. "You want superheroes right" "you want progressive token roles right" "you want irony IRONY IRONY!!" Or true crime for 30 somethings obsessed that everyone they knows a secret narcissist.
