I really think you could use a needle scaler. it does all the hammer screwdriver cleanup way faster.
A good buffing and polishing of the housings and then a clear coat would have looked a lot better than a rattle can of silver paint.

I have seen the start ups of some of these restaurations channels. And I love the beginning where you start up with what you got, and slowly buy new tools when you get the money for it. These are the channels i like the best because they have to think a little different in the beginning where they cant buy every tool they like and sometimes that makes the projekts much more impressive. So please keep it up, because this can be a great channel with many subscribers.

Place grease on the gears mostly. Why put grease along the enclosure...its the gears that need it.
