It's pretty smart to separate the update into parts to keep them from overworking themselves. This is what the OG EXE team SHOULD have done.
According to Revie, that was the original plan. But after she got the boot, organization was nonexistent. They had a Misfits Pack mod set alongside V3.

I love how BF's Determinator tendencies were depicted here. Even after being killed and enslaved, he still gets up and fights *beyond* the bitter end, and only gets *pissed* at his own death, effectively going into his own sort of psuedo-Phase 2.

It's set within Secret Rings, with the corpses belonging to Alibaba, Sinbad, and that king whose name I can''t remember, rather than Tails, Knux, and Ivo, and Shahra's ring is on .exe's finger. His armor, meanwhile, is the armor Sonic got when Caliburn became Excalibur in Black Knight.

This mod is surely one of the best Sonic.EXE mods I've ever seen yet, the V1 was already pretty cool, but they improved every aspect of the mod in this update, congrats to the whole team for creating this amazing mod !

i love how they implement the scenes from the og spirits of hell whisper of souls fangame... like vanilla steals cheese while she's singing with boyfriend, causing cream to run home rather than cheese being missing from the start and cream having to find his corpse, which also makes her run home when "sonic" tells her to, since that would require gameplay. the song is also just really good and represents that surviving route for cream (she has another one in-game that involves chasing a purple "firefly") really well lmao
idk how i feel about boyfriend just. being there. but im not done watching the whole thing atm so idk maybe theres a reason. anyway yeah all the cream songs are bangers so far edit: holy shit a sally chromatic that doesn't sound dogshit. that's a first. best exe mod methinks
one final thing i wanted to add: idk if its just me but like. it feels like the vocals and notes are slightly off? like for me when i played it, it threw me off and made it harder than it needed to be lol. it sounds like the vocals play slightly earlier than when you press/hold the notes, for some reason. that could probably be fixed at some point maybe? idk edit: actually i think the problem is like the vocals start out being earlier than the notes by a little and then later in the songs the vocals play SLIGHTLY too late. not to the point it's unplayable but it feels weird lmao. its most noticable to me in the first amy song and all of the cream songs (including the one where tails is fighting her)
I remember watching every outcome and every ending of the fan game and was impressed with how chocked full of variety it was, as well as the music choices. I didn't like any of the games that came after, unfortunately, but I do remember feeling so bad for any endings involving Knuckles and Tails; it seemed so cruel how their fates never turned out well without everyone else with them.
I think so too. I mean Tails causes suicide to restart the timeline and even eats Cream. It's messed up.
Or how any of the three girls would... break if one of them died. If I remember correctly, something about an eye implanted into the 3 of them that gives them a lot of power but also slowly makes them insane if any of them dies.

Once again this mod proves to be the most bangin' mod I've seen for the SOH games. This is just stellar stuff, I'm glad that this mod managed to make it through development, it must've been hard to pull through cause of how so much content was added. I appreciate all the hard work from the team! :D

42:18 from what I could get from the actual game, exeller doesn't actually have direct control over the others he killed, he only revives then and gives them orders, cream is the most hesitant out of the 6, which is probably why she doesn't drain your health and is also crying in "poor girl"

I'd love to see a version of Tails' "Poor Girl" sprites where He's worried. I love his official sprites but they seem out of place for that song.

Anyone else notice that the dead characters and alive characters are drawn in a completely different style? Like obviously they're different designs but the artstyle itself is also completely different too. It's not a complaint or anything just a stylistic choice I noticed.

One of best Sonic.exe mods, I can't wait part 2 to come out (and I hope they will fix some mistakes like Amy being happy when exeller reveals himself or wrong colour of character's health bar). I hope that soon in this mod will be all endings like in SoH 2 and these mechanics like dying in certain parts changes ending (and will be cool if they will make Tails doll don't shut down when everyone is alive, but shut down if one of characters (except Cream) dies), so waiting for part 2 😅

You know, we have Sally's form in Sonic SatAM and pre-reboot Archie Sonic Comic and we have Archie Sonic Reboot Sally with her new design and outfit. You know, what Sally (the pre-reboot body design) would look like if you gave her an outfit from rebooted Archie Sonic. I think this FNF mod answered our question. (well sort of)
I remembered playing and loving The Spirits of Hell and V2 of this mod is honestly one of the best and craziest mods of Sonic.exe. The cutscenes in this are really amazing, I love the style and animation of them.
