Six years ago, I threw a line into a random bayou running through the heart of Houston and ended up discovering the city's best kept fishing secret: these inner-city bayous are absolutely loaded with all kinds of fish!
Seriously, the vast majority of the city's four million inhabitants have no idea that underneath all the concrete, steel, and glass are fish.

  • I can extremely relate to this video because I’ve also fallen into the body before and my leg got cut up from the concrete as I was slipping down into the water and it took me a while to get out but a week later I had a major skin infection that ruined my whole summer😢 So I found a new strategy for getting my fish out from the water without falling in with them and it’s shoving a steak into the ground and attaching a rope to it and letting it dangle all the way to the waters edge, and whenever I need to land of fish, I just walk down there and hold the rope in one hand and have the fishing rod and another and so far it worked out great!!!👍

  • Don't make fishing tackle like they used to ..breaks or wears put far to easy. What happened to life time guarantee. That's an interesting place to fish...Chinese and japonese art is redolent with carpy imagery.. such a classic fish...

    • Oriental art depicting carp is absolutely gorgeous. I have a Japanese painting of carp in my living room.
