There's something very reassuring about watching a manager who is actually dictating the game. his constant shouting to the players about where the gaps were, when they should be pressing, his detailed instrucions to danny ings etc. He's an actual coach, a tactician who reads the game in real time, and who has something to contribute from the touchline. With a squad like ours, that's what we need, we're not galacticos who can just breeze every game.

Arsenal fan here. I'm a huge fan of Emery. Unfortunately they were so many players with massive egos at Arsenal who got him the sack. Arteta had to get rid of those players and he's doing well for Arsenal now. Emery will do really well for you guys.

As a person, i respected him even at Arsenal. Very respectuous attitude. He saluted every player after the goal, not only the staff. Very human and great coach for the youngs. It wasn't his time at Arsenal, he came just after Wenger, he didn't have a lot of time. I hope success fr him, he deserves it. And i think he will. Very happy for this win.

What a difference he has made since he came to Villa...Players were playing more confidently and keep attacking!! Unlike in e past when still under Stevie Gerrard we dun see much passion in the players...The crowd also love him too!! I've watched this game at home yesterday absolutely fantastic from start to finish but having just watched this and seeing in detail how uni Emory conducts himself on the touch line wow now that is man management which is what we have been missing for years especially they he shook every ones hand when the first goal went including the subs that's saying with intent I respect you all even you are not on the pitch today good times are a coming but let's not get carried away a lot of work to be done but let enjoy the moment for now think it's going to be a different game on Thursday but if the players put in 100 percent I'm happy come on you villa boys you can do this

As Arsenal fan, he was really good in tactical tbh. I can see from the analysis post how he wanted to play with mix of laliga + prem league style. It just that he didn't win support from the players and the boards. Maybe barrier language causing him in the dressing rooms and arsenal got too many ego players at that time. As Arsenal fan, he was really good in tactical tbh. I can see from the analysis post how he wanted to play with mix of laliga + prem league style. It just that he didn't win support from the players and the boards. Maybe barrier language causing him in the dressing rooms and arsenal got too many ego players at that time. Hope he finds success in Villa.

Emery is a bad man. The Arsenal sacking was a collusion. As much as I am happy with Arteta, Emery is a dangerous manager. He can beat any team on his day. He is like a corporate spy, knows everything about everyone; managers, players, squads. Always studying, scheming and plotting plans. Haha 😂 Villa have themself a top, top manager here. I predict Villa to finish in the top 8 this season.
