They paying their tow fee too pass .however some didn't have a fee too pay like us humans. But since he have been paid a lot of vegetables food fee .he let you pass .quite sure he has your tag number because he has an extremely good memory
I was thinking the similar thought. One car gave some fruit but others did not. I thought wait until those others come through again, the elephant won't let them pass without fines and penalties for the neglect of paying their toll fee last time. Hopefully the people are smart enough and pack a lot of elephant goodies or otherwise they may end up in elephant jail. Elephants never forget so even if the person changes cars it won't work because the elephant remembers both car, license plate, model, make, and year of car, the elephant also remembers the age, sex, height and weight of the driver and passenger. Better to pay ones toll or don't go. An elephant truly never forgets.

A gentle giant for certain. The elephant has not acted agressively toward anyone but one car, a rover, threatened to hit the elephant with his vehicle two times in which the elephant reacted with fear and ran into the tall grassses and trees. It is this disrepect for an ancient species repeated over and again by unconscious and uncaring people which make it highly dangerous and unwise to attempt to view these animals iin the wild anywhere or to even live in close proximity to them because truly an elephant never forgets. As relations exist, humans are going to be injured and killed as a tit for tat or karmic reaction to the ongoing violence that is apart of elephant life irregardless of whose nation or continent. It would be wonderful if human beings could find their own intelligence to mend their ancient relations with this great being the elephants and to share the planet with them. Elephants have a great deal to teach people and people have a great need to learn how to coexist with the diversity of species to have a viable and healthy environment, to live in balance, taking no more than what one needs and making sure there is enough for all other lives who need to eat and thrive also. To restore the meaning of prophet from $greed to teacher, wise and true. May humanity continue on to evolve with the earth and all life so that all beings will thrive on the earth and be healthy and strong. Human beings need to discontinue their dominance over others. No being can adjust to or be healthy in a cage. We are all born free and we should treat others in the same way. Until relations are healed between wilderness and human beings it is far better to view wildlife through wildlife film makers because treading into the last vanishing spaces of wild life may be ones own death sentence. The wild wish to live also and they do understand whom threatens their lives, and they have no prejudice or discrimination toward anyone, it is toward all human beings. Will intelligence and humanity prevail ? Some say yes, I hope so too.
