It was 2-3ft on the Gold Coast but its always a bit bigger on the other side.

thanks for filming, editing & posting. .... surfed this place alone, post cyclone, many moons ago; thought it was a secret spot. tooo many people & jetskis, good luck not getting run over now
Having spent a couple years on the coast but now back in central Canada I can only dream of being in those lineups again...thanks for the vid!
Really nice cinematic filming, it comes closer to perfection
few good ones in there before the wind got up
OMG!! 25 years ago I use to take my jet ski to that spot. Some weekends I'd nearly have the place to myself.
Surfed here a bit in the early 90's, you'd be lucky to see 5 boats and 30 ppl
I surf my lazyboy these days but looking at those peaks rolling in still gives me the feel of seeing an on coming set…😁
Somehow crossing a piece of water to get to the beach improves everyone's behaviour (ok odd chandelier causation), welcome respite from the main drag
That stood out to me too!!! Remarkable etiquette considering the crowds and the quality of waves!
I surfed this place by myself for years in the 80s just as good even better sum days.
Impressed with how few drop ins..... although those could have been edited out I suppose
Good looking wave. Where is this Australia?
I’ll be there next weekend. Not taking the boards. Way to crowded now.
0:45 that was a psycho one!
Fondest memories discovering this place for the first time in 1995 on my trip from so cal to Aus. We paddled over (didnt know they had a ferrie) in sharky waters and surfed our brains out. 4 hours and 80 barrels later (conditions were similar to this vid) I longed for that beach break again. Closest thing we have to that is Blacks in San Diego or maybe Newport on a really good day.
fuck surfing on the gold coast... couple hours south and there's uncrowded point breaks galore
Not anymore
I know virtually all the ones to Sydney and can think of hardly any that are uncrowded.
Why are the so many jet skis in the background?
It's an island
@@phoarey what does that have to do with anything? non sense answer
@@xisotopex they used the jetskis to get there. There is no way to get here by road
No ones even out
fuck id hate to grow up surfing in qld
Not a foamie in sight
Wtf
Nothing against Raw Surfing. But looking at this vid and another late vid of Snapper/Rainbow you can see why there is shortage people for jobs.
