Crossing Mexico’s Dangerous Boarder

Crossing the Mexican border in a camper van was nerve-racking for us, but turned out to be one of the best things we ever did. The city of Mulege was very welcoming to us. In just a few days we were friends with the locals, playing pool, and drinking beer around fire pits.
Restaurants we love in Mulege:
-Birote's Everybody: Amazing tacos and ceviche
-Carlos's Racing Bar: Shrimp quesadillas were great and Juan Carlos was very nice. We even left a spare license plate on the wall!
-Restaurant Bar El Candil: The bartender Manuel was very nice and they have the best coconut shrimp ever.
Jungle Jims: This is where the music festival was.
We slept by the lighthouse on the beach, about .5 miles from the Birote's Everybody location.
