  • My dad used to have a 1990’s (forgot exactly what specific year) Mazda RX-7. He’d do stuff like this in Regina back when he was in his late teens/ early 20’s, he’d tell me stories about events like these and specifically one street racing incident when he was racing some guy in a Honda Civic and he shifted from 5th gear to 2nd at 280 km/h spinning out and nearly missed a lamp post nearly killing himself and totalling his car. I couldn’t imagine what it was like and I thought my dad was crazy. But man seeing this documentary now I can imagine all these experiences my dad got to love through. He is 53. now and he sold his car a long time ago. Great documentary by the way! It just brought back good stories from my dad.

    • Yeah watched all the video i get the fast and furious vibes but imagine if it was your mother who died in a ambulance stuck because of this shit happening, seen people getting hurt from cars, fireworks and even getting pushed by others who think they are going to stop the car with a person .. i guess it doesn't happen because we have roundabouts to take the edge off we would have stopped the helicopters with 100+ laser pointers. the cringiest part is that the hype but i understand it since i guess those people would be stuck all night watching instagram they couldn't do this

  • I don't know what to think of it to be honest. The cinematography is beautiful and your work must be recognized, you're doing something unique by capturing a movement in the Era we live in, future generations will be greatful. As of what these folks are doing, well, I would imagine this is a way to have fun and to protest against the establishment. I mean my reality and image of life is so different, living in Europe in the serenity of a place where people usually obey law, I have difficulty to agree with this kind of behavior. I find it primal, dangerous, pardon me the expression but fucked up in a way. I don't want to get into why but I would be glad to have someone to discuss in person wich would have some strong disagreements with my point of view. Well, not my culture, not my home, I do not know what is the reality of people over there, guess I might give it a look someday, if my path ever takes me to Atlanta. Take care you lot

    • Same, I do too live in Northern Europe . Prolly this kind of behavior wouln`t be accepted, but if I look from different viewpoint, than i have seen this kind of street stuff in my country. AND a year ago I spent a week in Moscow and the street scene there is a different breed. Starting from m2 BMW to RS6 Audis... AMG G wagons, S classes, Masseratis and so on, all drifting, doing burnouts and donuts.
