Annual Pig Feast - The Chinese New Year is Truly Over Only After This Meal

After more than a month, I've finally finished this year's Annual Pig Feast. The pork has to be cured and air-dried, so it took me a little longer to make this episode. This is how we process the pork. It seems that the New Year is truly over only after this meal. The cured pork will accompany us through the year.

  • I am from the US. I wish so much that our countries could be more allies than rivals. I adore the Chinese culture, it's a beautiful language, the art, the music is so magical. The country itself has some of the most beautiful sights to see that I feel I probably will never get to see. Still though, even though our world leaders all suck , and would rather fight than not, I still have much love and respect for the people. I feel like all of us regular people would actually get along and learn much from each other!

  • Being a Muslim I don't eat pig but I admire family ties of this big and happy family. I love this young lady,she is so hardworking as well as the rest family members. I really admire Chinese...they are very traditional,they preserved their customs and traditions. I wish all the best to this beautiful family ❤️❤️❤️❤️

  • I can see that this is obviously a lot of work and care to spend so much time preparing all of these things so naturally. There is a natural beauty, coziness and comfort of home and family which comes with all of this obviously. I live in the states and we eat an enormous amount of processed and machine prepared food. Because that is the case we miss all the healthy things and all of the love, family and togetherness that you enjoy naturally in living this way and preparing your foods like this. There are some things that money cannot buy or replace. Thank you for your lovely video. I enjoyed it so much.

    • Believe it or not, this is a form of propoganda (soft powers) that china wants to potray and show it to the world. Do a search on Li Zi Qi the famous chinese youtubers, you'll know how she is being make use by the central goverment.

The propaganda is the meat & dairy industry that converts a lot of forest/jungle land for grazing and don't forget the water each animal drinks is more than the average human consumption.all these for a bottle of milk and a can of processed meat😂
